The Ordone family is mourning a tremendous loss.
Sadly, it’s been confirmed that the young child, Preston Ordone – famously recognized as “Okay Baby” due to his appearances on TikTok with influencers Katelynn Ordone and Jaelan Ordone – passed away following a car accident on April 24th. This information was shared on social media by Louisiana State Police.
Initial probe revealed that around 11:50 a.m., in St. Tammany Parish (around 50 miles north of New Orleans), their Ford F-150 truck from 2011 lost its way and collided with a tree. This incident occurred just before the specified time. Katelynn and Jaelan are currently recuperating at nearby hospitals following the accident. Regrettably, Preston sustained severe injuries and later passed away at the hospital.

The family members of the couple shared the sad news, clarifying that their 7-year-old daughter, Paisley Ordone, was safely at school during the incident. Melanie Matranga addressed this matter in a video posted on April 27, speaking on behalf of Katelynn and Jaelan, stating, “She wasn’t in the vehicle at the time.
Katelynn sustained several fractured bones, it was clarified. She endured a severe concussion and managed her first steps today. Jaelan underwent an emergency operation on one of his legs; he now has rods and pins in place at different hospitals. Preston was extracted from the vehicle and transported to the hospital, where they exhausted every possible treatment option.
The family’s close friends and relatives mirrored the toddler’s online persona, finding themselves captivated after he said “OK” before engaging in an activity such as jumping into mud puddles. In one video that garnered over 18 million views, Katelynn humorously commented in her caption, “We’re still trying to understand what ‘OK’ means to him.
