Pedro Pascal: “My Protective Side is Lethal”

Pedro openly stands by his sibling who revealed her identity as a woman transitioning in 2021. At a recent event in London, he used the term “she-ra” when referring to transgender women. His statement shirt appeared not long after the controversial remark, causing uproar and protests from the LGBTQ+ community and their supporters throughout the U.K.

It’s well-known that this individual has been vocal about transgender rights, and in 2023, he reiterated his support by declaring once more: “Lux is and forever will be one of the strongest personalities I’ve encountered. My protective instincts can be deadly, but I need her more than she needs me.” In essence, he was expressing his backing for the transgender community again. He stated, “I can’t imagine anything more contemptible, petty, and insignificant than harassing the most fragile, defenseless group of people who seek nothing but the right to exist.

Lux stated that, despite the challenging circumstances faced by the transgender community in the U.S., she is dedicating her efforts to her acting career. She expressed, “Perhaps it’s not wise, but I’m channeling my energy into my work. I’m busy working and I want to maintain this focus, hoping that the turmoil will subside. However, I am thankful, and I feel incredibly fortunate, and I believe this path can help others find some ease as well.” She added, “These are tough times, and I wish it weren’t so difficult. It feels like we’re still navigating a pandemic. Couldn’t we all take a moment to relax and show compassion towards each other? I guess I might be too idealistic,” she said.

Apart from her previous comments, she added that she’s eagerly anticipating making a debut in the American film and TV industry. She shared, “I have two upcoming projects, one of which I’ve already filmed…I can’t reveal too much about what’s to come.
