Jesy Nelson is giving an update on her pregnancy journey with twins.
A month following the disclosure that she had been admitted to the hospital due to a rare illness, the former member of Little Mix and her partner Zion Foster publicly discussed their experiences during their extended hospitalization as they underwent recovery from surgery.
In an interview with OK Magazine (published on April 28), as reported by Daily Mail, Zion stated, “We’re feeling a bit cabin feverish due to the limited spaces around us.
However, the couple turned a difficult situation into an opportunity for growth, beginning in late March when Jesy required an emergency operation due to complications from twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS). This condition occurs when twins share one placenta within the womb, leading to an uneven distribution of nutrients and potentially harmful health issues such as heart failure, organ damage, or even death, according to Cleveland Clinic.
Zion mentioned that they arranged a convertible couch next to Jesy’s hospital bed, essentially creating a double bed for themselves. This makes it feel like we’ve moved into the hospital room, he added. The nurses were surprised and appreciative, commenting on how cozy and inviting the setup looks in the hospital environment.
Another silver lining? The couple have “grown to understand each other on a deeper level.”
At moments like these, you truly understand the depth of your love and the significance of your bond. For Zion and Jess, it’s as if this experience has elevated their connection to a new plane, confirming that they were destined for one another.
The rapper known as “Blessing” has not only stood by Jesy, but also demonstrated support for her in various ways beyond just being present during her recent challenges. Before rumors of her dating Zion emerged in 2022, Jesy was in a relationship with Chris Hughes, a star from Celebrity Big Brother UK, from 2019 to 2020.
A few weeks ago, at the age of 26, Zion participated in the London Marathon with the aim of collecting funds for Twins Trust, an organization that assists families who are rearing twins, triplets, or even more.
Following the feat, Jesy, 33, expressed how grateful she was for his commitment to the cause.
She expressed on Instagram, on April 27, her heartfelt admiration: “I truly didn’t believe it was possible for me to love you any more than I do, @zionfoster. But today, I am incredibly proud! You managed to prepare for the London Marathon in less than four weeks and not only did you complete the race, but you also raised funds for a remarkable cause, @twinstrust, and for our little ones.
Jesy added, “Words will never be enough to let you know how proud I am of you.”

Currently, from my knees to my toes, it’s still numb, which is quite unusual,” he remarked in a March 2025 episode of his Trading Secrets podcast. “To clarify, let me say this without sounding arrogant, but about two or three weeks ago, I might have been squatting around 295 pounds. Now, I can’t even do a single-leg squat; if I try, I fall. It’s as if I had a stroke or something similar happened.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

Instantly, @thebrendanrooney took charge, evaluated her injuries, and swiftly transported her to the hospital. The bullet hit her in five spots; one was just inches away from her right eye.
The former Kim Possible cast member went on to explain, “Regrettably, a piece became stuck near my eye, and it’s not safe to operate surgically right now. However, doctors are keeping a close watch on me, and I can see clearly as of now.

She declared her deep affection for her daughters, husband, family, and friends, stating that their presence in her life is priceless. She cautioned that life can unexpectedly alter in the blink of an eye, encouraging everyone to seize each chance for a warm hug with the people around us.
Despite the internet often being unkind, Amy Schumer is grateful it offered insights during this particular instance. Recalling an episode of Call Her Daddy in January 2025, she said, “The internet was harsh after a series of interviews, and I thought, ‘Alright, everyone, calm down.'” However, medical professionals chimed in with their opinions, suggesting that her unusual appearance could indicate Cushing syndrome.
Initially taken aback by being criticized by doctors, Amy later realized that she had been receiving steroid injections for scars from a breast reduction and C-section. “I was getting these steroid injections,” she said. “These caused me to develop Cushing syndrome, which I wouldn’t have discovered if the internet hadn’t been so relentless.”
Now, Amy is relieved to know she’s healthy, as she shared in a February 2024 News Not Noise newsletter: “Learning that my form of Cushing would resolve itself on its own was the most fantastic news I could have imagined.
In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced one of the most frightening moments in her life while having breakfast with her husband Justin Bieber. She started showing symptoms similar to a stroke, such as losing the ability to respond or speak properly, and her face drooping on one side.
Hailey shared this experience on YouTube about a month later, recounting that Justin asked her if she was alright, but she didn’t respond because she wasn’t certain. When he asked again, Hailey tried to respond, but couldn’t. The medical team later diagnosed the issue as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA), caused by a small blood clot in her brain.
Further examination revealed that Hailey had a hole in her heart called patent foramen ovale (PFO). The blood clot from her heart escaped through this hole and traveled to her brain, resulting in the TIA.
Hailey underwent a successful procedure to close the PFO and reported feeling fine afterwards.
In the same year as Hailey’s health crisis, Justin also encountered one of his own. Specifically, in June 2022, the renowned “Baby” singer revealed he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a condition that led to temporary facial paralysis and necessitated the cancellation of the rest of his Justice World Tour. In an Instagram video at the time, Justin explained the syndrome attacked the nerve in his ear and his facial nerves, causing full paralysis on one side of his face, as evidenced by his inability to blink one eye, smile on that side of his face, or move the nostril on that side. He also mentioned it had become progressively difficult for him to eat, but eventually, the paralysis subsided. Hailey shared on a June 2022 episode of Good Morning America that Justin was doing well and feeling much better, despite the unexpected and alarming situation. She expressed her gratitude that he was fine.
Initially shrouding details of his hospitalization in April 2023, Jamie Foxx eventually shared his experiences. In his 2024 Netflix special titled “What Had Happened Was…”, the Academy Award winner explained that one day in Atlanta, he asked for an aspirin due to a severe headache. Before he could get it, he lost consciousness and couldn’t recall the following 20 days.
A doctor initially administered him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister Deidra Dixon then drove him to another hospital where they discovered that Jamie had suffered a brain bleed leading to a stroke. Twenty days after undergoing surgery, Jamie woke up on May 4 in a wheelchair and was unable to walk. He subsequently moved to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.
“I just want to express my gratitude for every prayer,” he said, “because I truly needed them all.

She later learned that she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a life-threatening type of stroke caused by bleeding in the space surrounding her brain.
Emilia underwent immediate surgery to seal the aneurysm, which she described as extremely painful. During recovery, she experienced aphasia, speaking nonsense. However, a week later, the aphasia passed, and she was discharged from the hospital after a month’s stay.
In 2013, during a routine brain scan, it was discovered that the growth had doubled in size, requiring another surgery. This operation involved opening her skull to access her brain. Fortunately, Emilia is now reportedly in perfect health.
Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, expresses her gratitude towards her family following a severe stroke in January 2024. When she informed them about the incident and shared a picture, everyone rushed to help her. In December 2024, Cori shared with TopMob News correspondent Will Marfuggi that her kidneys were failing at the time and she faced multiple challenges. Determined to find answers, Shailene, who has a holistic background and studies herbalism, sought help from both conventional medical professionals and alternative healers. This quest for healing took over a decade.
During this long journey, Shailene also grappled with mental health issues. Due to her stomach pain, she developed a fear of food, leading to body image concerns, confusion about identity, and feelings of insecurity and uncertainty about her own body.
