Following the arrival of their newborn daughter, affectionately named Matty, earlier this month, the April 28th episode of “90 Day Fiancé” offered a glimpse into the couple’s emotional responses as they began their journey as parents and embarked on this exciting new chapter in their family life.

During the show, Jasmine confessed that she was taken aback since all necessary precautions had been taken. It simply didn’t seem possible to her.

During this time, Matt confessed that he was quite fearful when Jasmine, who has sons Juance and JC with her former partner Gino Palazzolo and is still legally married to him, informed him about her pregnancy.

Matt admitted, “I’m unsure about what that is, but I’ve been avoiding it all these years. Ever since I was a child, I’ve been dodging the idea of getting married or starting a family. However, as I’m getting older, I feel it might be time for me to mature and perhaps consider having kids.

Jasmine agreed that Matt was extremely frightened when she shared the news with him, but he managed to change his perspective later on.

When she learned that, indeed, she was pregnant, the 38-year-old remembered him reacting in a heartwarming manner right away – he offered his full support.

Absolutely, Jasmine and Matt couldn’t hide their joy when they revealed the birth of their daughter earlier in the month.

According to their statement to TLC on April 9, “She is already overflowing our hearts with so much love and happiness!

And the 90 Day Fiancé star also gave fans a glimpse at her newborn on social media. 

I couldn’t help but exclaim on my Instagram Story on the 9th of April, ‘My little one resembles a heavenly being!’ She’s not just beautiful but also robust and cherished by countless hearts. I feel truly fortunate to have been gifted such an exceptional little girl.

Despite Jasmine’s unexpected pregnancy not bringing joy to all parties involved, the April 28 episode saw Gino expressing his discontent with the breakdown of their proposed open marriage.

During the tell-all, Gino confessed his regret over consenting to an open marriage. He explained that he felt as if he’d been backed into a corner and had to make a choice, act upon it, because our current situation wasn’t working out for us.

Gino realized that an open marriage was their final option, and he hadn’t anticipated Jasmine and Matt developing such a deep bond.

As a lifestyle advisor, I pondered over the idea of embracing an open marriage approach, as it might bring joy to Jasmine, and in turn, make me content because she’d stop criticizing me. Ultimately, our mutual happiness seems like the goal here, correct? We could potentially reconnect, reignite our intimacy, and move past the third person involved.

In other words, Jasmine’s experience with Gino’s unfavorable response to her carrying Matt’s child indicated that their bond might not have been strong enough to sustain a long-term relationship.
