Despite this, Lala’s heartfelt plea that she could potentially be linked to the crime and that arresting Gibbs would devastate her life as well, eventually convinces Macy to halt the investigation, thus preventing Gibbs from serving a prison sentence.

In the final episode of “NCIS: Origins“, the long-standing tension between Gibbs and Lala reached its climax. As they swam close together, there was a brief pause where an intimate moment almost occurred – they nearly shared a kiss, but just as it happened, Gibbs spoke up and spoiled the special moment.
