A quick look at the impressive figure of the renowned Elden Ring player, Let Me Solo Her, can leave the toughest Tarnished feeling humbled, yet this prodigy also faced challenges with one of FromSoftware’s mightiest adversaries – Bloodborne’s Orphan of Kos.
In April 2022, “Let Me Solo Her” emerged as a notable figure within the Elden Ring community, assuming the character of a loincloth-wearing jar-headed messiah who provided crucial assistance to numerous players struggling against the challenging optional boss Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
According to his personal tally, he’s clocked in more than 1,200 hours of gameplay and faced off against Malenia countless times since then. His relentless dedication has made him a legendary figure within the Elden Ring gaming community, leading FromSoftware to honor his contributions by sending him an authentic sword as a token of appreciation.
In a freshly released video, Let Me Solo Her shared that, having eventually yielded and acquired a PS5 primarily for the Elden Ring Nightreign trial, he found himself revisiting the cherished game, Bloodborne… and surprisingly, as a seasoned FromSoftware player, he encountered challenges with some of Bloodborne’s legendary boss battles.
After adjusting to the difference in frame rate – Elden Ring runs at 60 frames per second, while Bloodborne operates at 30 fps, and overcoming the heavy ambiance and succumbing to the werewolf in the clinic (we’ve all experienced it), Let Me Solo Her embarked on his entire Bloodborne adventure, including the DLC.
In the end, I encountered the Orphan of Kos. It seems every Soulsborne game’s downloadable content features a final boss who feels incredibly powerful,” he remarked. “For Elden Ring, it was Radahn, the Promised Consort; in Dark Souls 3, it was Slave Knight Gael; and for Dark Souls 1, it was Manus, Father of the Abyss. Orphan of Kos served as that boss for Bloodborne.
I found this boss particularly challenging compared to all previous encounters, leading me to scour Chalice Dungeons off-stream for Blood Vials and ammo just to keep up. To summarize, he’s undoubtedly the toughest boss fight I’ve faced in Bloodborne.
