In a recent statement, the actor who plays the Mayor of Kingstown mentioned that he, father to a 12-year-old daughter named Ava with his ex Sonni Pacheco, explained that although they faced broken bones and heavy blood loss, the greater danger while waiting for emergency medical help was hypothermia.

As reported by Jeremy, during the attempt to provide assistance, there was a brief instant when his complexion shifted and he shut his eyes.

He asserted in his writing, “I am certain I passed away.” The EMTs observed upon arrival that my heartbeat was barely detectable, with only 18 beats per minute, which is almost equivalent to being clinically dead.

The Hawkeye actor then described what he experienced in those moments.

In his words, “Upon my death, I experienced an unending, stunningly beautiful and marvelous energy.” He continued, “There was no sense of time, location, or dimension, and nothing to perceive except a unique, bi-directional vision crafted from threads of that incomprehensible energy.

Reflecting on the memory, he said, “I found myself in the vastness of space: silent, devoid of wind, filled only with this extraordinary energy that connected me to everyone and everything. In each fleeting moment, I was everywhere, amplified beyond any number calculable by mathematics.

In the months following the 2023 incident, Jeremy shared his prolonged healing journey on social media. He expressed that during this time, he could perceive his entire life, and it felt like every person and thing he cherished were by his side in those poignant instances.
