The television series titled “Einstein,” starring Matthew Gray Gubler, has been postponed. In this show, Gubler portrays Lewis, the great-grandson of Albert Einstein, who aids a local police detective, Veronica “Ronni” Salazar (played by Rosa Salazar), in solving intricate cases. The series is inspired by a German show with the same name and is adapted by Andy Breckham, the creator of “Monk,” as well as Randy Zisk, who has previously worked on numerous episodes of “Monk.
Based on TVLine’s report, the release of Einstein has been postponed until the 2026-2027 television season due to a high number of shows being developed at CBS currently. It was decided that it would be best for Einstein to focus on its pre-production phase for now. This update comes a week after CBS gave a series order for Einstein, and following past efforts by the network to adapt the police procedural.
