It seems we’ll need to wait a bit longer to encounter Kaser, as the release date for “Lost Soul Aside” has been pushed back from May to August. This action-adventure RPG, developed by Ultizero Games and set to launch on PlayStation, was previously announced with a new trailer during PlayStation’s State of Play in February, promising flashy combat reminiscent of Devil May Cry. With development spanning nearly a decade, “Lost Soul Aside” has been eagerly awaited by many, so the news of its summer delay might be slightly disheartening.
Instead of its initial release date being May 30th, 2025, the game “Lost Soul Aside” will now be launched on August 29th, 2025, for both PC and PlayStation 5. Representing Ultizero Games and “Lost Soul Aside”, the game director Yang Bing has provided an explanation for the delay in the project.
Yang Bing expressed sincere appreciation for the overwhelmingly favorable feedback received globally from gamers following the announcement of ‘Lost Soul Aside’. To ensure a top-notch gaming experience that lives up to the expectations we’ve set for ourselves at Ultizero Games, we’ll need some extra time to fine-tune the game. Consequently, ‘Lost Soul Aside’ is scheduled to launch on August 29, 2025. We extend our deepest gratitude to those patiently anticipating its release.
The revised August launch for “Lost Soul Aside” puts it in a competitive position, as it will now debut alongside “Shinobi: Art of Vengeance,” with “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater” scheduled for release the day before on August 28th. Originally, it was set to compete against “Elden Ring: Nightreign” on May 30th and share a month with “Doom: The Dark Ages.
Previously discussed, the game known as “Lost Soul Aside” has been under development since 2014, initially spearheaded by Yang Bing. In 2017, PlayStation took notice of the project and decided to assist in its development through their China Hero Project. However, it wasn’t until last year that any updates emerged. Though the wait might seem prolonged, for those who have been supporting Yang Bing’s vision since the viral 2016 video, a few months is insignificant. Moreover, although the delay may disappoint some, it ensures that the game can be polished to its fullest potential, potentially making “Lost Soul Aside” even more impressive than what we’ve already seen.
On August 29th, the video game “Lost Soul Aside” is set to debut on both PC and PlayStation 5. Stay informed about this game and other exciting PlayStation releases right here on ComicBook.
