Over the next few days, we celebrate Star Wars Day 2025 (a friendly reminder it’s on May 4th). Exciting updates are coming for enthusiasts of this iconic series, as well as Fortnite fans!
The upcoming Disney+ series, Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld, will debut not on traditional television, but within Fortnite. This special event happens two full days prior to when Disney+ subscribers can start watching.
Join the Fortnite ‘Star Wars Watch Party’ island from May 2nd at 10 AM ET. This exclusive event will screen the first two episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld ahead of its Disney+ premiere, showcasing the captivating tale of Asajj Ventress, a beloved character.
From now until May 11, you can access the viewing island. If you watch both episodes, you’ll gain an additional reward – the Asajj Ventress Loading Screen – which will be unlocked for you within 3 days after completion.
Alongside the non-sharable viewing event (which streamers should remember not to disclose as it could lead to a run-in with Disney’s legal team), there’s also a fun mini-game available for participation.
This game appears to be a typical Horde Mode, yet it offers an exciting twist! Instead of conventional weapons, you’ll wield Star Wars Lightsabers and blasters. Plus, there’s no damage taken by the players. So, let your imagination run wild as you immerse yourself in a Jedi-themed adventure.
Not only are the perks not over yet, but here’s another exciting tidbit: Linking an Epic Games and a myDisney account gives players a chance to grab a complimentary First Order Stormtrooper skin for gameplay. This skin has a Lego-like aesthetic, perfect if you prefer that style.
