Meghann Fahy is currently occupied and fully engaged! Building on the massive success of her 2024 Netflix hit The Perfect Couple and recent thriller Drop, she’s poised to reappear on our screens in Sirens, a darkly humorous Netflix production that promises to be another triumph for the streaming platform.
In a different phrasing, Fahy portrays Devon, a woman who decides to pay a visit to her sister Simone at her workplace after their father receives an unsettling health news. However, it is the relationship between Simone and her wealthy boss that eventually causes Devon concern.
According to Molly Smith Metzler, the show’s creator and executive producer (as stated by Tudum), she commented that the narrative is packed with intensity, akin to having many sharp points or aspects. Notably, this story shares its roots with a 2011 play written by her as well.
The production contains intense, thought-provoking scenes that may cause discomfort among viewers. I often refer to it as ‘operatic’ in nature. It’s a genuine dark comedy with an overture of Greek mythology woven into its fabric.
But when can you watch it? And who else appears in the cast?
Read on for everything you need to know about Sirens.
Sirens release date: When will it air?

Meghann Fahy, recognized from shows like The Perfect Couple, The White Lotus, and The Bold Type, plays Devon in this production. Devon is troubled due to her sister’s romantic involvement with a philanthropist who is the wife of a billionaire, and there are suspicions that they may be running some form of cult.
In the series “House of the Dragon” and “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow”, Milly Alcock takes on the role of Devon’s sibling, Simone, while Julianne Moore portrays Michaela, Simone’s superior at work.
Kevin Bacon plays Michaela’s husband Peter.

Sirens plot: What’s it about?

In the synopsis, it is stated that Devon believes her sister Simone’s bond with their mysterious employer, the enigmatic figure Michaela Kell, gives off an unsettling vibe.
In simple terms, the luxurious lifestyle that Michaela leads captivates Simone in a way similar to a powerful drug. However, Devon senses the need for an intervention due to this situation, yet he’s unaware of just how strong an adversary Michaela might prove to be.
Over a thrilling three-day span at the opulent Kells’ seaside mansion, Sirens offers a sharp, witty, and sometimes humorous examination of female dynamics, influence, and society’s elite stratum.
