Against the Storm

On June 26th, 2025, Against the Storm will be making its way onto PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles, delivering the critically-acclaimed roguelite city builder to gamers everywhere.

The game, which has received excellent feedback on PC platforms and boasts an overwhelmingly positive user rating on Steam, is set to arrive on Sony’s systems. This means fans of the console can look forward to experiencing its distinctive take on the genre soon.

Fundamentally, the objective of this game revolves around building compact communities within an enigmatic, randomly-generated woodland, and transforming them into resilient economic hubs capable of withstanding the approaching tempests.

In each game round, you’ll be limited to selecting specific structures, each with different productivity levels. Additionally, the inhabitants of your settlements have preferences and needs; satisfying these preferences will boost their morale and encourage them to work more diligently.

As a gamer, I find myself needing to accomplish specific tasks before advancing to the next gaming hub, where the challenges become more formidable. Each defeat will provide me with resources that can be used to permanently boost my abilities, slowly but surely enhancing my odds with every try.

Based on the positive feedback we’ve received about the game, we’re eager to discover how well it performs on gaming consoles. Since it appears to be designed primarily for use with a keyboard and mouse, we hope that it will also work smoothly with a controller as well.
