Today, another highly-regarded Xbox exclusive game, Forza Horizon 5, joins the ranks of competitors, now playable on the PlayStation 5. Although it’s been four years since its debut on the Xbox Series X/S consoles, its move to Sony’s gaming platform isn’t flawless. Issues have been spotted by developer Playground Games, with some resolutions being rolled out in the latest update for the PS5 version of the game.
According to the Forza Support Team from Playground Games, the update for Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 has been released for players to download. From what I can gather, the port appears to be functioning well as the patch notes are brief. The update includes some overall performance and stability improvements to ensure your journey through Mexico runs smoothly. The most significant fix in this new version is specifically for PS5 Pro users experiencing crashes when using the Photo Mode in Quality Mode; that issue has now been resolved.
As of now, there’s only one problem reported and unresolved in the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5. The Forza Support Team has mentioned an issue where the Logitech G920 or G29 steering wheels are not fully compatible with the console. More specifically, the Left Steer Button (LSB) plus Right Stick Button (RSB) combination on these wheels cannot be re-mapped at the moment. Affected players can keep an eye on this post for any updates regarding patches. For those who wish to stay informed about known issues with the game, they can visit this link.
