Alan Bersten’s Top Tips for Robert Irwin’s DWTS Debut!

Alan Bersten knows what it takes to bring home the Mirrorball trophy. 

Ever since the news broke that Robert Irwin is stepping onto the dance floor for “Dancing With the Stars” season 34 as a celebrity contestant, I can hardly contain my excitement! As a die-hard fan, I’ve been eagerly awaiting any insights into his journey, and the pro dancer recently shared some thoughts on what could potentially clinch victory for this remarkable wildlife conservationist.

In the unique interview with TopMob News, Alan advised, “Encourage him to remain authentic as he’s extremely charming,” expressing his belief that people will adore him instantly. “He’s in for a blast! I think he’ll excel exceptionally well this season,” he added.

He confessed that he wished he could dance with him. He seems like an excellent dancing companion. It goes without saying that whoever is dancing with him will surely have an amazing season.

Robert faces a significant responsibility as his older sister, Bindi Irwin, previously won first place with partner Derek Hough ten years back, since he wears large dance shoes in their family. However, Alan believes that the 21-year-old is ready to take on this challenge.

11-year-old video clips of him have been shared, and as a dancer, I remember him vividly. Even at that age, he exuded such a strong personality. We met him not long ago at the Get Real event, and let me tell you, he’s full of life! He’s incredibly grateful too.

According to Alan, the wonderful personalities of Robert and Bindi are likely due to their experiences working with “amazing animals.” However, he strongly believes that their unique traits were initially shaped by their mom, Terri Irwin, and their late father, Steve Irwin.

He praised them highly, saying, “They’ve been raised with such grace,” and added, “What an exquisite family! We feel incredibly fortunate to have Robert join our dance floor.

Alan is beyond thrilled about the prospect of presenting his 11-month-old dog, Jeff, to Robert.

Alan remarked that it’s amazing for Jeff since Robert is so fond of animals,” said Alan, collaborating with Cesar Dog Food on their latest product – the Cesar Warm Bowls, a microwavable option. “I think they’ll develop a strong bond,” he added.

In simpler terms, the expert disclosed that Jeff will attend each and every rehearsal for “Dancing With The Stars”. Given this, there’s ample opportunity for them to develop a strong bond, as you may recall Alan teamed up with his pet dog, a Brussels Griffon, to choreograph a dance routine for their collaboration.

He described the dance move we called ‘The Cesar Spin.’ It’s fantastic! He’s an incredible dancer, and it seems like he inherited his skills from his father. He’s just got so much charm. Working with him on this project was a delight, not just because of him, but also because collaborating with my dog, Cesar, was a dream I never thought would come true.

It helps that his pup also loves the brand’s food, too. 

Alan praised the Warm Bowls, stating, “The ingredients are fantastic! With genuine chicken and vegetables included, it gives me peace of mind knowing I’m giving it to him. Jeff, who can be fussy about food, adores it wholeheartedly. After tasting them, I couldn’t help but exclaim, ‘This is a no-brainer!’

As I eagerly anticipate who else will be part of the cast for this year’s Dancing with the Stars, let me remind you to revisit the extraordinary contestants from season 33 instead!

In the TV series “Inventing Anna”, the character (Anna) switched her ankle monitor for dance shoes with partner Ezra Sosa. However, this fictional heiress was dismissed from the show on September 24th episode. In a now-notorious moment, she said she learned “absolutely nothing” in her brief farewell speech before being eliminated.

The Olympic rugby player was all set to engage in some lively dancing with professional dancer, Alan Bersten, ultimately placing second.

Disney Channel actress attempted to climb up the ladder by dancing with partner Brandon Armstrong, eventually finishing in third place.

As a devoted admirer, I followed the graceful model and her dance partner, Gleb Savchenko, as they prepared to showcase their moves on the ballroom floor. However, their captivating performance came to an end on October 15th, as they took their final bow together.

For me, as a die-hard fan of Family Matters, sharing the dance floor with Emma Slater was nothing less than a dream come true. Every step we took, every move we mastered, it was all leading to one goal: claiming the Mirrorball Trophy. But alas, our dance journey took an unexpected turn on October 8 during week two of competition, leaving us short of reaching that coveted finale.

In the second week, Christian Bale (the Dark Knight) teamed up with Britt Stewart. Together, they were dismissed along with Reginald and Emma.

The Bachelor alum has found his rose between thorns in partner Jenna Johnson, winning season 33.

90210’s alum was eagerly prepared to dance with Pasha Pashkov, but their partnership lasted just a week before they were both eliminated in a double elimination along with Anna and Ezra during the competition.

Certainly, Witney Carson, the NFL pro and her partner, truly dazzled on the dance floor, finishing fifth in the final round.

The renowned NBA player aimed to outshine all others alongside his dance partner, Daniella Karagach, in the competition; however, they were unfortunately eliminated on November 12.

In the upcoming competition, the Olympic athlete aimed for another prize – the Mirrorball Trophy – alongside partner Rylee Arnold. On November 26, they finished in the fourth position during the final event.

Previously on “Dancing with the Stars”, the contestant who had been a part of the show’s cast before, known as the “Traitors” alum, confidently aimed to eliminate rivalry by teaming up with professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy. However, unfortunately for them, they were removed from the competition on October 22nd.

Despite The Bachelorette‘s star and partner Sasha Farber shining brightly on the dance floor, they were unfortunately eliminated from the contest on October 29th.
