Gearbox Software recently shared an in-depth look at Borderlands 4 during the State of Play presentation hosted by Sony, featuring approximately 20 minutes of footage from the PS5 version. You can watch it here.
The video showcases an investigation of the vast game environment, including parts of a mission, leading up to battle sequences. It then delves into the latest Vault Hunters and personal character customization options. Additionally, there will be three additional gun manufacturers, bringing the total number to eight within the game. This fourth installment appears to draw inspiration from Destiny 2, with random occurrences scattered across the open world.
In Borderlands 4, you find yourself in Kairos, a new planet filled with warring groups, dangerous wildlife, and desperate people. For millennia, the oppressive Timekeeper kept this planet hidden, controlling its inhabitants through cybernetic implants called Bolts and an army of synthetic soldiers known as The Order.
