The Demon Slayer Group is on the brink of an epic journey, which also happens to be their final one. This summer in Japan, the initial movie of a three-part series based on the heroes of Demon Slayer will debut, with the western premiere happening in September. To stir excitement among anime enthusiasts for Tanjiro and his allies’ return, clothing designers at UNIQLO are creating exclusive outfits, allowing fans to show support for both the heroes and villains born from Koyoharo Gotouge’s imagination.
As an anime enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that UNIQLO has partnered with some renowned anime franchises such as Dragon Ball, Gundam, Dandadan, One Piece, Berserk, Jujutsu Kaisen, and many more. This time, however, the spotlight is on the upcoming Infinity Castle arrival from Demon Slayer, set for this summer. Previously, UNIQLO collaborated with Demon Slayer, but this new crossover will exclusively center around this event.
Here’s how UNIQLO describes their latest anime collaboration: “Experience the captivating artwork from ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,’ created by Koyoharu Gotouge and animated by ufotable, now on a T-shirt. The tale follows Tanjiro Kamado as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps in an attempt to humanize his demon-turned sister, Nezuko. The series, known for its poignant human-demon narrative, terrifying swordplay, and occasional humorous moments, has gained global acclaim. The upcoming film, ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Arc,’ Chapter 1, is scheduled for release on July 18, 2025.
【Decision to release products】
Uniqlo’s graphic T-shirt brand “UT” has decided to release a collection based on the series “#Kimetsu no Yaiba”.
Four designs of T-shirts from this collection will be available for sale starting from mid-July, both in Uniqlo stores across the country and on its official online store.— 鬼滅の刃公式 (@kimetsu_off) April 28, 2025
What Lies Within The Infinity Castle?
In the final episode of season four for Demon Slayer, Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Unit were drawn into the stronghold of Muzan and his demonic lieutenants, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats. Previously, the Hashira had given their all in an attempt to vanquish the demon lord, but their efforts proved futile. Given that Muzan is a demon with extraordinary longevity, he can only be killed by the sun, making it impossible to eliminate him using conventional methods for taking down demons.
It’s logical to conclude that wrapping up Demon Slayer with a film trilogy is sensible given its shonen series’ impressive box office success. The movie Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, in fact, holds the record as the highest-grossing anime film ever, amassing hundreds of millions of dollars. Interestingly, this movie will revisit cinemas before the Infinity Castle, allowing fans to relive the battle on the demonic train yet again.
Demon Slayer’s Grand Finale
Since creator Koyoharu Gotouge wrapped up “Demon Slayer” with its final chapter in 2020, the anime adaptation has been playing catch-up to the manga. So far, the mangaka hasn’t given any indication of a sequel or spin-off series, which means that when the anime catches up to the source material, it could potentially mark the end of the Demon Slayer Corps storyline for good. Although Tanjiro’s tale may have reached its conclusion, the influence and memory of “Demon Slayer” will continue to linger on for a long time.
