Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s little girl is all grown up.
On May 2nd, when Princess Charlotte, the lone offspring of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, celebrated her 10th birthday, it was customary for the royal family to reveal a portrait of the young celebrant to mark this significant occasion.
This year, it was Kate who took on the role as the artist, capturing Charlotte’s radiant smile stretching from ear to ear, as she struck a pose on a verdant hill covered in grass.
On their combined Instagram page, William (age 42) and Kate (also 43) posted a lovely portrait, with the accompanying message: “Wishing Princess Charlotte a joyous 10th birthday!
A week from now marks a significant event, following the couple’s celebration of their youngest son, Prince Louis, turning seven. On this special day, they were gifted a portrait by Josh Sinner that captures Louis. The young prince is seen wearing dark jeans, a plaid button-down shirt, and a dark green sweater, all while showcasing his toothless grin from atop a stone wall in front of a beautiful garden filled with purple flowers.
As for Prince George? His birthday portrait won’t be revealed until July 22, when he turns 12.
However, it was Kate who took credit for the significant photo from last year as well. This mother of three, who self-identifies as an “amateur” photographer, captured a striking black-and-white image of George wearing a dark suit and white shirt to celebrate the event.
Today marks Prince George’s 11th birthday, and they expressed their warm wishes on Instagram. In the photo caption, they acknowledged that it was taken by The Princess of Wales, dated 2024.
It appears that Kate’s affection for photography has been inherited by her children, as evidenced by a photograph taken by Louis in April which was employed by the royal family to celebrate World Cancer Day.
In 2024, Kate, who had been diagnosed with cancer, learned she was in remission in January. A lovely snapshot captured her beaming, standing balance-wise atop a downed tree trunk, her arms spread wide.
She captioned the photo, “Don’t forget to nurture all that which lies beyond the disease.”

77-year-old Graham Craker, who once served as a protective guard for the royal household, including both Prince Harry and Prince William, passed away in April.
Cracker was present among the group of boys as they found out that their mother, Princess Diana, had passed away. He also attended her funeral ceremonies.
In 2017, Craker shared with The New York Post that during the funeral procession, he was positioned at the back of the hearse. At that moment, William turned to look at him and acknowledged my presence. In response, I nodded back, offering comfort to William as he bid farewell to his mother on her last journey.
On March 12th, Hugh Grosvenor, the godson of King Charles III, along with his wife Olivia Grosvenor, shared the joyous news that they are expecting their first child together.
According to a representative, the duchess is planning to give birth this coming summer. The couple is overjoyed about the upcoming addition to their family and are eagerly anticipating becoming parents together.
Frederick Prince, the offspring of Prince Robert and his spouse Princess Julie, passed away on March 1 at the age of 22 following a tough fight against PolG mitochondrial disease, an uncommon genetic condition.
In a statement, Robert expressed, “Frederik is like our family’s Superhero, and he’s that for countless friends too, and now, significantly, due to his PolG Foundation, he’s a hero to many worldwide. One of his superpowers was his knack for inspiring others and leading by exemplary actions.
On January 22, Prince Harry, also known as the Duke of Sussex, came to a settlement with News Group Newspapers, the publisher of The Sun and the now-defunct News of the World. This settlement was reached after he filed a lawsuit against them in 2019 for alleged illegal activities carried out by their journalists and private investigators, who were said to have gathered information about the royal family in an unlawful manner.
The agreement stipulated that the company would pay a significant amount in compensation, also requiring them to offer Harry a sincere and clear apology, as well as publicly admitting the extensive media coverage and invasive nature of their reporting into his private life, as well as the private life of Princess Diana of Wales. On January 14, it was announced by the Princess of Wales that her cancer had gone into full remission following all her treatment sessions.
She expressed gratitude for being in remission and continued her journey towards healing, as she posted on X, which was previously known as Twitter, on January 14th. Anyone familiar with a cancer diagnosis understands that adapting to a new way of life takes patience.
She went on to express her excitement, saying, “I’m eagerly anticipating a rewarding year to come.” Furthermore, there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the future.
In simpler terms, Meghan Markle (the Duchess of Sussex) was saddened by the passing of her cherished rescue beagle, whom she welcomed into her home back in 2015, prior to getting married to Prince Harry.
On Instagram, she posted on January 7th: “I’ve shed so many tears I can’t count them anymore. The kind of tears that lead you to step into the shower, praying the water streaming down your face will magically erase them, or convince yourself they don’t exist. But they do. And it’s alright to feel this way too.
Meghan expressed gratitude for countless years of selfless affection towards her dear Guy. She continued by saying that he had enriched her life in a manner she could hardly express.
Edward “Ed” Pettifer, stepson of Prince William and Prince Harry’s previous nanny Alexandra Pettifer, also recognized as Tiggy Legge-Bourke, was among the unfortunate victims of the New Year’s Day terror incident in New Orleans.
William expressed his shock and sadness over Ed Pettifer’s unfortunate death, stating this in a post on Kate Middleton’s Instagram Stories on January 4th. He conveyed that his thoughts and prayers continue to be with the Pettifer family, as well as all those who have been affected by this devastating incident.
On January 1st, the former Suits actress, who deactivated her personal social media profiles prior to her 2018 marriage to Prince Harry, launched an individual Instagram account for the first time.
The following day, it was revealed that she would be launching a fresh Netflix series called “With Love, Meghan“. As stated in a press statement, this innovative show combines useful tutorials and open dialogues with both familiar and new acquaintances, reinventing the format of lifestyle programming.
