Alix Earle Reveals “Lots of Plans” for Future After Podcast Shakeup

Alix Earle is dreaming big.

The creator of TikTok’s Hot Mess podcast has just declared a break, but there are many exciting ventures on her horizon.

During her interview with TopMob News at the 2025 Kentucky Derby in Louisville, KY on May 3rd, she playfully remarked, ‘Lots of ideas and aspirations, but I wouldn’t want to bring bad luck by saying too much.’

24-year-old [person] (who went to the annual horse racing event with her boyfriend Braxton Berrios) recently announced that she would be pausing production on her podcast earlier this year, following rumors about her being removed from Alex Cooper’s Unwell network. Currently, she is contemplating a possible foray into the film and television industry.

“I think acting is fun,” she continued. “I would love to explore that. Maybe someday, we’ll see.”

However, prior to appearing in any on-screen roles, Alix is dedicated to presenting an authentic version of herself to her numerous online fans.

She shared that she tends not to deliberate much before sharing posts, instead opting for an immediate, unfiltered approach. Before her social media success, she admits to overthinking every detail and attempting to sanitize the content. She believes it was when she stopped overthinking that she began seeing success, and this is the method she continues to employ.

In March, Alix announced that she was going to take a break from her podcast and focus on uploading weekly videos to YouTube instead.

In a TikTok video, she expressed that she needs to temporarily halt her podcasting activities for an undetermined period. She didn’t wish to disclose the specifics, as she currently can’t do so, but she has cherished the experience and is very proud of what she accomplished with the podcast.

In that very month, Alex, aged 30, made it clear that she had no part in Alix’s decision to leave Unwell.

In a post on Instagram Stories, it was stated that Alix’s inability to podcast is unrelated to her being unwell. She also mentioned that her company had transferred Alix her intellectual property. However, she expressed ignorance as to the reasons behind Alix’s current situation or what might be happening.
