Although MAPPA is often recognized for its popular shonen series like Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, and Chainsaw Man, what some may not realize is that the studio has also ventured into the isekai genre. In 2023, MAPPA surprised viewers with their successful adaptation of Ren Eguchi’s Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, and now, after almost two years, the series is coming back for Season 2 this Fall.
The second season of “Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill,” initially announced on the show’s social media platforms in December 2024, has finally set a release date. According to the anime’s official account X, Season 2 is scheduled to premiere in October 2025. The series will air on TV Tokyo in Japan, with Crunchyroll providing international fans access to the show. Additionally, a brand-new full-length trailer for Season 2 was unveiled, featuring Mukohda’s upcoming familiar, Dora-chan.

Campfire Cooking in Another World Hypes Season 2 With New Poster and Trailer
Apart from announcing its October launch date, the latest teaser for “Campfire Cooking in Another World” Season 2 has been unveiled. This new poster showcases our hero, Tsuyoshi Mukohda, savoring a mouth-watering meal with chopsticks. Previous voice actor Yuma Uchida will reprise his role as Mukohda, while Satoshi Hino and Hina Kino will continue voicing Fel and Sui respectively in the upcoming episodes.
Ayumu Murase, known for voicing Hinata from Haikyu and Iruma from Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun, has been added to the cast. He will lend his voice to Dora-chan, the newly introduced pixie dragon in the latest video teaser. The adorable Dora-chan is anticipated to become Mukohda’s newest companion in Season 2 and is undeniably the most exciting aspect of the new trailer.
Excitedly speaking, the production aspect of “Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill” is heating up as Kenji Takahashi has hopped aboard as Assistant Director!
