Among the numerous anticipated releases in the upcoming months, the enigmatic “MindsEye” by Build A Rocket Boy stands out as one of the more puzzling. Even though it’s set to debut next month, there has been relatively scant gameplay footage available.
More recently, a revelation occurred when a streamer showcased and responded to unpublicized footage (noted on Reddit). This swiftly brought attention to the game’s cover-based third-person shooting and driving mechanics. The shooting aspect, in particular, is familiar, featuring protagonist Jacob Diaz exchanging weapons and detonating enemy vehicles.
The second part provides a glimpse of Redrock City’s streets and architecture, beautifully lit, shaded, and reflecting, giving an impression of reality. It further presents an exchange between Jacob and Claudia, where she had obtained his data (accompanied by a humorous remark implying he is active on social media).
On June 10th, the game titled “MindsEye” will debut on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. We’re anticipating the official gameplay reveal soon. The game spans approximately 15 hours and is designed to deliver a compelling, carefully crafted narrative. Keep an eye out for further updates in the meantime.
