Stacey & Joe Season 2 Filming Kicks Off: Family Life at Pickle Cottage Returns!

The popular reality show “Stacey & Joe” has officially been given a green light for another season by the BBC, with production on the upcoming episodes set to begin shortly.

The program offers an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the household of Stacey Solomon, a well-known singer and TV host, and her spouse, Joe Swash, who previously acted on EastEnders.

In the past month, the initial season debuted, swiftly transforming into a surprise sensation due to the engaging pair of characters, their offspring, and an assortment of pets such as two adorable dogs and multiple ducks, captivating viewers’ hearts.

In the upcoming episodes, the clan is hinted to embark on a family vacation while juggling their demanding careers, personal pursuits, and cherishing significant family occasions.

Clare Sillery, who oversees commissioning at BBC Documentaries, expressed her joy about collaborating with the Solomon-Swash family and production firm Optomen for a second time on a forthcoming series that looks incredibly promising and thrilling.

It’s delightful to observe that the audience has grown fond of Stacey, Joe, their children, and their cherished pets. Rest assured, the second season will authentically portray the lively happenings at Pickle Cottage.

In the upcoming year, Stacey & Joe’s second season will feature six heartfelt, hour-long episodes. These episodes are set to debut on both BBC One and iPlayer. Filming for the next installment of this beloved factual series is about to begin.

Initially, Solomon gained recognition by appearing on The X Factor, where he finished third in the 2009 season. Subsequently, he was victorious in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! the following year and eventually secured a position on the Loose Women panel.

Swash, who had previously portrayed Mickey Miller on EastEnders and later returned for a special appearance, also achieved recognition by winning the 13th season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! After his victory in 2008, he went on to host Extra Camp, the companion show.

The pair married in 2022 and are currently raising five children as a blended family.
