For Kelly Clarkson, the trouble with love is her busy schedule.

On the Kelly Clarkson Show, the host (who has River, age 10, and Remy, age 8, with her ex Brandon Blackstock) discussed if she still harbors hopes for a special, rare instance (often referred to as a “unicorn moment”) of finding love, three years after her divorce.

Kelly expressed to Jenna Bush Hager and Matt Rogers on the May 6th episode of “Today with Jenna and Friends”, “Indeed, I’d say I neither deny nor affirm my intentions, as I am quite occupied. As mothers know, I need to concentrate on my current tasks. There are many responsibilities to attend to.

The 43-year-old expressed that their children’s schedule seems more packed than their own. Between wrapping up my show and attending baseball practice, I’m doing my best to be present. It’s quite a juggle. My mom often reminds me, “Remember, I was a single parent. I didn’t have the chance to arrange everything. They’ll be alright. You turned out just fine.

Kelly mentioned that she’s making an effort to create additional personal space, particularly during her business travels.

The American Idol champion expressed, “I’m making an effort to be present as much as possible for them and we’re quite the adorable trio. I’m focusing on maturing more, so for Mother’s Day weekend, I do have a couple of shows scheduled, but my children won’t be joining me. This gives me an opportunity to act my age, spending time with my band, enjoying drinks and adult activities.

During their conversation about Kelly’s new song “Where Have You Been?”, the topic of her romantic relationships surfaced, as the dress she wore in the music video was a see-through gown with a deep neckline.
