Elden Ring will get a small DLC with new content. Unfortunately, you will have to pay for them

Back in early April, Nintendo unveiled some exciting details about the upcoming Switch 2, and one thing that really caught my eye was a roster of third-party games they mentioned would be making their way to this console. Among these was the Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, which is noteworthy because it will offer additional content in the form of DLC that’s also available on other platforms.

Yesterday, the FromSoftware Games Event Spring 2025 unfolded in Tokyo. At this gathering, the creators unveiled some fresh content (as reported by RPG Site). Alongside the original game and the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, a new version for the Nintendo Switch 2, named The Tarnished Edition, will introduce two additional character classes.

  1. Knight of Ideas
  2. Heavy Knight

They’ll have two out of four brand-new armor sets, while we’ll need to discover the remaining ones in the Lands Between ourselves. FromSoftware has revealed that they’re adding additional weapons and abilities as well. Additionally, the developers plan on introducing three fresh skins for Torrent.

In addition, you can access additional content on various platforms such as PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. This content will come in the form of a Downloadable Content (DLC) called the “Tarnished Pack.” However, please be aware that there is a cost associated with it, but it’s important to note that the price is intended to be modest.

It’s still undisclosed when the game Elden Ring will be available on Nintendo Switch, but we do know it’s planned for release sometime in 2025.

It’s important to note that in recent times, Elden Ring has achieved a substantial milestone with over 30 million players. The spin-off game, Elden Ring: Nightreign, is set for release on May 30th. You can review the system requirements for it in one of our previous updates.
