Tom Brady admits his Netflix roast was a learning opportunity when it came to parenting.
After the Netflix roast I endured as a New England Patriots player last year, the responses of my sons – Jack, 17 (with my ex Bridget Moynahan), Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12 (with my ex Gisele Bündchen) – have left an indelible mark on me. I can’t help but be moved by their reactions to that event, still vivid in my memory.
Tom mused over the May 5 episode of the Impaulsive podcast, acknowledging that the situation was undeniably challenging for his children. He enjoys poking fun at himself, but admitted that it felt akin to being in a locker room where he thrives on the intensity people show towards him. However, he recognized that, despite his casual approach, his kids found it particularly tough.
Indeed, Tom admitted he will “never forget” the impact it had on them.
The following day, I conversed with my children, and it was as if a dagger had pierced my heart, he reminisced. Naturally, they’re protective – they care for their mother, their father, and everyone around them.
After the popular comedy show, his children questioned him, saying, “Why did you do that? What was its purpose?” or simply, “What was the reason behind it?” and “Was there a particular intention for your actions?
Looking back, Tom cherishes the memories of his roast that boasted big names such as Nikki Glaser, Kevin Hart, and Kim Kardashian.
He was absolutely thrilled with the show. The acting was outstanding, and being there, in the theater at The Forum, was an electrifying experience. It was almost surreal. Afterward, everyone was floating on air, and that memory will stay with me forever.
In Tom’s meal, there were jokes that weren’t just about his sports career, but also his divorce from Gisele (that took place in 2022), who recently had a baby boy with her new partner, Joaquim Valente, in February.
Although he cherishes fond memories of the experience, the 47-year-old clarified a week later that the adverse effects it had on his family would prevent him from seizing similar opportunities in the future.
The football star expressed on the “Pivot Podcast” last May that he wouldn’t repeat the action because it negatively impacted the people he cherishes the most in life.

Tom has supporters scattered across great distances, yet it’s his three children who hold the title of his most devoted fans. The sight of their “Brady” jerseys never fails to endear them to us even more as a family.
It’s even more delightful to adorn the Christmas tree, because it becomes twice as enjoyable when your cherished daughter lends a hand. And the joy multiplies significantly, especially when she is all decked out like a fairy!
In his free time, the soccer player enjoys hanging out with his charming little ones at the beach, and we wholeheartedly agree with this choice.
