Shaun the Sheep 3 news…..

Following two highly successful films and a TV show, we’re excited to share some exciting news about Shaun the Sheep 3 – a much-loved character from Aardman Animations, second only to Wallace & Gromit in popularity. The TV series is among Aardman’s top-performing properties, airing in over 170 territories globally.

In the upcoming movie titled “Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom,” the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm eagerly anticipate Halloween until the accident-prone Farmer destroys their beloved pumpkin patch. Determined to rectify the situation, Shaun takes on the role of mad scientist, but things quickly get out of hand… With the Farmer gone and a mysterious beast prowling the woods of Mossingham, the stage is set for a hilariously exciting family-friendly adventure. This is a summary of the storyline.

The movie is penned by Mark Burton, known for works like “Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl,” “Paddington in Peru,” and “Shaun the Sheep Movie”; and Giles Pilbrow, recognized for “Horrible Histories” and “Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas.” It will be helmed by Steve Cox, who directed “Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas,” and Matthew Walker, famous for “Lloyd of the Flies,” as its directors.

As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the U.K. will be my platform for distributing this upcoming film in both cinemas and Sky Cinema. Collaborating with the brilliant independent studio Aardman, we have Canal+ and StudioCanal as our global partners outside the U.K. This partnership ensures a wider reach for the movie’s delightful humor and captivating storytelling. Get ready for pumpkins shattered beyond recognition, science gone awry, and a wild, hairy creature causing mayhem in Mossy Bottom – all served with Aardman’s signature joyous comedy!

The movie follows the tremendous success of “Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl,” a hit that shattered viewing records over Christmas, making it the most-watched animated film on British TV since 2002, and it bagged two BAFAT awards along the way.
