Sony Drops Striking Death Stranding 2 PS5 Controller—See Kojima Unveil It!

The upcoming game titled Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, which is Sony’s next major release, isn’t shockingly planning a Limited Edition DualSense controller. Pre-orders for this special edition will start from May 22nd, and it will only be available through PS Direct.

Here’s a nice picture of Hideo Kojima holding the pad, courtesy of the PS Blog:

Working together with Kojima Productions, we’ve created a controller that boasts a sleek, jet-black design, accentuated by the DrawBridge insignia in vibrant orange across its touchpad. While we appreciate its overall aesthetic, we feel the ornamentation on the handles might be slightly excessive in terms of design.

The controller is set to retail at $84.99 USD or £74.99 GBP upon its release, which might seem expensive, but it’s reflective of current market prices for gaming hardware. Its debut is scheduled for June 26th, coinciding with the game’s launch as well.

Feel free to share your thoughts on this: Does the design appeal to you, or do you believe it’s another missed opportunity by Sony’s hardware department? You can voice your opinion in the comments area provided below.
