Joe Tate’s (Ned Porteous) life is hanging in the balance after a dramatic instalment of Emmerdale.
The wicked character has accumulated a series of heinous acts, ranging from drugging Noah Dingle (Jack Downham), which ultimately led to a deadly limousine accident, to robbing uncle Caleb Miligan (William Ash) of his kidney after inflicting a stab wound upon him.
Following Joe’s warning to Clemmie Reed (Mabel Addison), who is secretly Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley), about their affair, Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) became enraged.
Now, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) discovered the truth behind her son Noah’s fate, and she revealed to him about Joe’s guilt. She wanted to conceal Caleb’s suffering, as she had made a vow to Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly), promising to protect certain events from being exposed.
In response to Noah being asked not to attend Lydia Dingle’s party at Home Farm, Charity began plotting her retaliation, as Billy looked on while Dawn participated in a seemingly harmless dance with Joe.
It might have been fortunate for Lydia that she experienced a car issue while returning to the village, because it wasn’t long before things turned chaotic there.

Billy subtly questioned Dawn about her relationship with Joe, leading to a heartfelt discussion during which Billy disclosed that Joe had frightened Clemmie.
Noah arrived, having called the police who turned up to question Joe on the spiking.
charity was shocked, having unintentionally but deliberately spilled the drink into joe’s cup moments prior.
Despite managing to evade arrest himself, the attendees were shocked when they discovered that Joe’s actions led to the tragic deaths of Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), and Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson).
Amy’s spouse Matt (Ash Palmisciano) along with her mom Kerry (Laura Norton) pressed for honesty, as Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) probed Joe about his feigned compassion towards Caleb.
It was discovered that Manpreet deceived Caleb into providing a blood sample, while also covertly using her private online images for blackmail against her.
Joe initially claimed innocence, but when faced with Dawn, he reluctantly acknowledged his actions of drugging Noah. However, he deceived everyone by saying he’d located a kidney donor in the United States instead.
Dawn asked Joe if he had threatened Clemmie, and again, he lied through his teeth.
Since the party turned out to be a failure, Joe was spotted drinking in his private quarters, and it remained unknown to the viewers who had entered his room after the door opened.
Joe was quickly found lying unconscious and bleeding on the ground outside, apparently thrown out from his bedroom window!
True devotees may recall that the demise of the previous proprietor of Home Farm, Tom King Senior (played by Kenneth Farrington), occurred in a similar manner back in 2006. This unfortunate event took place when his son Carl (portrayed by Tom Lister) shoved him.
Currently, just hours prior to Joe experiencing a similar ordeal, Jimmy (Nick Miles), the last surviving King brother, found himself lost in memories, mindful not to mention Carl’s role in the situation.
Now the big question is, who pushed Joe, and will he survive?
