Christina Haack is hacking her finances.

In simpler terms, the popular HGTV personality revealed unique financial details during her separation from Josh Hall, offering tips to reduce expenses.

Christina posted on Instagram Story, May 7, ‘Paying for this divorce hasn’t been inexpensive.’ To save money, I’ve been trying to reduce my expenses, particularly with clothing purchases. This adorable dress cost just $65.

In the image shared, I find myself, at 41 years old, beaming, dressed in a long-sleeved little black dress. I’ve paired this outfit with tights, knee-high boots, and my hair styled in soft waves for an added touch of elegance. And to complete the look, I am fortunate to be dating Christopher Larocca.

Christina finalized her divorce from Josh, her former spouse with whom she was married for two years until their separation in July, following the agreement of their divorce terms this month.

She expressed excitement about starting a new chapter and concentrating on future opportunities and her blessings in her Instagram Story posted on May 3, while raising a toast with a companion.

Without disclosing specifics about their divorce settlement, it was previously mentioned that Josh had sought alimony from Christina. However, Christina strongly objected to this demand, as stated in her own court documents.

In a statement dated July 2024, I expressed that I believe Josh has independent earnings. Consequently, I don’t think it’s necessary for him to receive financial support from me as his spouse.

The star of “Christina on the Coast,” who has children Taylor (14), Brayden (9) with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, and Hudson (5) with ex-husband Ant Anstead, confessed that her kids had a hand in her choice to separate from Josh.

She stated during an episode of their show, The Flip Off (originally intended for Josh), back in January, that the children essentially instructed her to depart. They had mentioned that Tarek wasn’t kind towards her, leaving her puzzled as to why she should continue staying.

Christina also expressed her feelings that Tarek made Josh feel “insecure.”

She clarified that whenever there was a bit of banter during soccer games or if I chuckled at her expense, he wouldn’t talk to me for about 2 to 3 days. Essentially, she said she’d receive the cold shoulder, or in simpler terms, endure the silent treatment.

The following month, Christina enjoyed the “Best Valentine’s weekend with my Valentine.”

A few days before the announcement of their marriage, Christina posted on Instagram that she had prayed for a man who was truly masculine yet respected her as if she were a queen. ‘Keep persevering,’ she advised.

In April 2022, it became known that Christina and Josh had secretly exchanged vows. They subsequently celebrated their marriage with a wedding in Hawaii, which took place in September of the same year. However, it was later disclosed that they had actually gotten married in October 2021. In her Instagram post on September 4th, Christina wrote, “I exchanged vows with my beloved in front of our loved ones. Life has led me to this moment, and I couldn’t be happier. My soulmate on the most beautiful island. Maui holds a special place in my heart. What an unforgettable night filled with love.

The real estate agent honored the HGTV star on her birthday with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. In his post, he referred to her as his “absolute stunner of a wife” and expressed admiration for all she has accomplished. He went on to say that she continues to inspire him every day and that she is an incredible force in life. The agent also shared his belief that Christina will make her 40s the best decade of her life, looking more beautiful than ever as she does so. He concluded by expressing gratitude for being able to share this journey with her, declaring his love for her and stating that he is a lucky man.

Josh posted on Instagram, saying “Continuing to thrive…” with pictures of them dating back over the last three years. “March 2024 < March 2023 < March 2022 < March 2021” indicates the progression of their relationship over time.

Josh initiated the process of separating from Christina, stating that their disagreements were too profound to reconcile.

As a die-hard admirer, I’ve got to chime in here! Now, Christina, she’s my girl, you know? And when it comes to the day they parted ways, well, she’s not on the same page with Josh. While he claims July 8 was their separation day, Christina insists it was actually July 7 that marked their breakup.
