Jeff Bridges‘ true grit has helped him through the hard times.
The actor from the movie “Hell or High Water” recently disclosed that he’s been thriving for close to five years since his lymphoma, a type of blood cancer, diagnosis, and about four years following his announcement of being in remission.
Jeff told People in an interview published May 9, “I’m feeling good.”
Despite undergoing chemotherapy, the 75-year-old acknowledged that he’s been dealing with health complications since contracting COVID-19.
Jeff clarified, “It can be challenging to determine whether the symptoms are due to cancer and COVID-19, or simply a result of aging.
As for what ailments he’s currently facing, the Tron star explained, “I can’t smell.”
However, the difficulties transformed into joyful moments for him, alongside his wife, Susan Geston, whom he met during the filming of “Rancho Deluxe” in 1975.
He went on to say, “My wife finds humor in my expense, commenting, ‘It’s been days since I last took a shower. Can’t you tell?’ There might be some benefits, though. Frankly, I don’t mind her scent.
In October 2020, Jeff first disclosed his battle with lymphoma. Back then, he expressed optimism about the situation.
Despite being a severe condition, I consider myself lucky to be under the care of an exceptional medical team, and the outlook appears positive for me. I’m about to begin my treatment and will make sure to share updates on my progress with everyone.
