Black Panther Star Letitia Wright Shows Off Avengers: Doomsday Training!

Actress from Marvel Studio’s Black Panther shares a glimpse into her training routine as she prepares for her return in Avengers: Doomsday. This epic Phase 6 ensemble film is currently underway, marking the beginning of its production before it concludes the Multiverse Saga. Numerous stars are gearing up to reprise their characters soon.

Actress Letitia Wright, known for her role as Black Panther, posted a video showing her workout routine in a gym as she prepares for her role in Avengers: Doomsday. This marks her return to live-action in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after late 2022, sparking curiosity among fans who are eagerly waiting to see where the character of the Wakandan ruler will journey next following her assumption of the Black Panther mantle.

A video was shared on Wright’s Instagram account (as reported by POC Culture on X), showing her doing arm exercises with a weighted pulldown machine and the phrase, “rack season,” appearing in the post.

In the latest action-packed movie “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in 2022, we last saw Letitia Wright portraying Shuri. After the tragic demise of Chadwick Boseman’s character T’Challa, Shuri ascended the throne of Wakanda and spent her time grieving. The movie concluded with a peaceful agreement between Shuri and Tenoch Huerta’s character, Namor the Submariner, and his people from Talocan. This pact ensured that Wakanda remained free from harm.

At present, it’s known that Wright is among the 27 actors who have been officially announced to star in “Avengers: Doomsday“. The movie started filming towards the end of April and is set to premiere on May 1, 2026. Although specific details about the plot are yet to be revealed, the movie promises an exciting clash between the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, and others against Robert Downey Jr.’s character, Doctor Doom, as he seeks to establish his rule across multiple universes.

How Will Black Panther Characters Be Used in Avengers: Doomsday?

In Avengers: Doomsday, Wakanda didn’t have a significant presence, but it was pivotal in the climactic scenes of Avengers: Infinity War. Looking ahead, despite Doomsday appearing to be a multiverse-focused event, this secretive African nation is likely to remain crucial for Earth’s Superheroes in future battles.

In the ongoing Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Wright will be accompanied by Winston Duke as M’Baku and Tenoch Huerta as Namor. Their storylines will pick up from where they ended in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”. As Doctor Doom poses a threat, it seems crucial that both Wakanda and Talocan lend their support to the battle against him. Notably, Doom has ties to both of these nations in the comic books.

Additionally, fans anticipate seeing Shuri engage with a broader range of the Avengers in this installment, having previously encountered characters such as Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, Vision, among others, in Infinity War.

As a die-hard movie buff, I can hardly contain my excitement! The prospect of encountering a multiverse variant of T’Challa is simply mind-blowing. Plus, with the potential return of the seasoned MCU heroine, it promises to be an adrenaline-pumping rollercoaster ride that I wouldn’t want to miss for the world!
