Tory Lanez has allegedly suffered a health emergency.
A well-known rapper, who’s currently incarcerated for a 2020 shooting incident that wounded Megan Thee Stallion, reportedly got stabbed in prison. After the attack, he was taken to the hospital.
Reportedly, as stated by TMZ, citing various reliable sources such as law enforcement, it was a 32-year-old individual who suffered stab wounds from another inmate within the yard area of California Correctional Institution at Tehachapi on the morning of May 12.
According to their sources, the news outlet stated that at the age of 32, Lanez was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for injuries that were not expected to be fatal.

In August 2023, Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson (also known as Lanez) was given a prison sentence of ten years following his conviction on three serious charges: recklessly firing a gun, assault using a semiautomatic weapon, and carrying an unregistered, loaded firearm in his vehicle.
For her part, Megan has earlier disclosed the emotional strain and impact the aftermath of the event had on her, alongside the physical hardships she faced.
In an interview with Women’s Health, she shared, “For a prolonged period, many individuals failed to recognize my humanity. I often felt that everyone was accustomed to me being the jovial and exuberant party girl. I observed them constructing, deconstructing, and having unclear expectations of me.
Megan went on to say, “Being a Black woman, particularly a dark-skinned one, often makes people think I should absorb the blows, endure the hardships, and remain composed. However, I’m just like any other person.
30-year-old Megan Pete (formerly known as) reminisced about feeling compelled to put on a show, expressing, “Half the time, I was in tears because I didn’t feel like performing, yet I didn’t want to disappoint my fans either.
In fact, the toll on her mental health became apparent off stage, too.
She explained further, “I chose to remain cocooned beneath my blankets, within the confines of my room. The lights remained unlit, and the blackout curtains ensured that sunlight couldn’t penetrate. I felt disconnected from myself, a state I tried to ignore for some time. However, it wasn’t until I began conversing with a therapist that I could truly accept and confront my feelings of depression.
It was through her therapist’s guidance that the “Mamushi” artist began her healing process, a journey that included detaching from social media, severing relationships with specific individuals, and prioritizing her physical well-being.
She shared that by focusing on personal growth, she found herself drawn to exercise as a means to channel her energy elsewhere. Exercise became a refuge for her, providing a sense of happiness.
She added, “I’m in a space where I feel good mentally.”
