As a gamer, I’ve got some news to share about Kingdom Hearts. Unfortunately, the development of Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, the GPS-based action RPG announced for release in April 2022, has been halted by Square Enix. However, they’re still fully committed to working on Kingdom Hearts IV. Keep your hearts (and gaming devices) ready!
As a passionate gamer, I eagerly looked forward to diving into the world of Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, which was initially slated for release in 2024 after a closed “Prototype Test” in January 2023. However, much to my disappointment, the game’s launch has been delayed, and it’s now set to drop some time in November 2024.

We have made the decision to cancel the development of Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link.
I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience caused, fellow gamers. I wanted to let you know that we’ve had some unforeseen delays in getting our service up and running as planned. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Despite our best efforts to create an engaging game and continually refine it, we realized that maintaining a service that would consistently meet player expectations for an extended period seemed challenging. Consequently, we’ve made the tough call to discontinue the project.
allow me to convey our heartfelt gratitude to all those who provided us with their backing and aid during the numerous closed beta testing phases. Regrettably, it is with a heavy heart that we must share this news with you.
The saga of the “Kingdom Hearts” universe will carry on, as we diligently develop “Kingdom Hearts IV”. We look forward to your continued interest and support, while we eagerly share more news about its progress.
