Remarkably, Nakamura picked the encounter between Gojo and Geto in Shinjuku as the one that left the deepest impression. When asked why he chose this specific scene, Nakamura mentioned that it significantly influenced his perception of Gojo’s character and his portrayal of Gojo during that scene.

From the beginning, the character of Gojo has been portrayed as a calm, self-assured, and aloof teacher, standing out among the strongest sorcerers in Jujutsu Society for his lack of emotional attachment or personal relationships. However, during the Hidden Inventory Arc, Gojo’s past connection with Geto is unveiled, causing fans to rethink their perceptions of him. Interestingly, even Yuichi Nakamura, who voices Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen, initially believed that Gojo was not someone who formed close relationships. During the recording of the confrontation between Gojo and Geto in Season 2, Nakamura shared that he approached the scene thinking each word spoken by Gojo was simply a straightforward expression of his feelings, such as “I don’t understand what you did.” This scene was particularly memorable for Nakamura because it showed a different side of Gojo, one that allowed him to connect with others on a deeper level.
