Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, described the bodily discomfort she experienced in relation to the alleged sexual gatherings he hosted.
During a federal trial on May 14 for charges of sex trafficking, Ventura (who had an on-again, off-again relationship with the mogul from 2007 to 2018) stated that Combs commanded her to engage in sexual activities with male escorts at his “freak-out” parties, regardless of any pain she was experiencing.
She stated that there were repeated instances of heated arguments, one after another, and at times she engaged in these heated exchanges while dealing with an infection, as reported by NBC News who had a journalist present in the New York courtroom. In an attempt to alleviate the problem, she used water. Eventually, even the antibiotic Ciprofloxacin became ineffective, and it was a chaotic situation.
As reported by the artist known for “Me & You”, apart from urinary tract infections (UTIs), frequent use of lubricants during oral sex can lead to mouth ulcers, and repeated instances may result in digestive problems as well.
She expressed that it was an agonizing ordeal for quite some time, according to NBC News. She finds it hard to accept that she endured such an experience.
38-year-old Alex Fine’s wife, who is expecting their third child together, commented by saying, “Having sexual intercourse while having a urinary tract infection was incredibly unpleasant and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Apart from those, she also mentioned some other health problems she encountered during her relationship with the founder of Bad Boys Records, a man currently pleading innocent to allegations including racketeering, forced sex trafficking, fraudulent sex trafficking, and transporting someone for prostitution in the ongoing federal court case.
In 2013, Ventura is said to have assaulted her, resulting in a facial wound requiring plastic surgery due to the injury.
According to NBC News, she testified that when Sean entered, I was sound asleep. He attempted to assault me, but in the master bedroom, my companions jumped on him in an effort to halt his actions.
She went on to say, “I accidentally injured myself by catching my eyebrow on the edge of the bed. Sean accidentally pushed me onto the bed frame, causing a deep cut.
Instead, Ventura explained that since it was Sunday, she chose not to visit the emergency room. Instead, Combs’ security personnel escorted her to a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills for care.
Afterward, Ventura said she texted Combs a photo of her wound and said, “so you can remember.”
In reply, the artist known as “Finna Get Loose” was stated by Ventura to have sent a text reading, “You can’t tell when to quit; you’ve gone too far this time.
She replied, “Just say sorry, I dont know why i deserve that you could care less if i was ok.”

On the second day of her testimony, Cassie Ventura narrated the details of the 2016 hotel incident that was recorded on CCTV cameras and broadcasted by CNN in May 2024.
She declared that Sean “Diddy” Combs hurled a vase at her following his attempt to depart from the Intercontinental Hotel prematurely, prior to engaging in a physical altercation with her.
Ventura stated about the vase on May 14, “I recall it moving towards me.” He added that it struck the wall, not him. There was shouting from him, and it appears he was hurling insults at me rather than using my actual name. However, I can’t specifically remember his exact words.
However, she said that Combs told her “that I wasn’t going to leave him, that I couldn’t.”
Following the hotel incident, Ventura mentioned that she needed to attend the premiere of her movie “The Perfect Match” sporting bruises on her face and body together with Combs. To hide her black eye and swollen lip, she also had to use a lot of makeup. She further stated, “I had several bruises on my legs, so I opted for a different outfit.
Cassie Ventura declared on May 13 that Sean “Diddy” Combs assaulted her in a Los Angeles hotel corridor back in March 2016, as he was enraged over her leaving a “freak-off.” (Footage of the event obtained from hotel surveillance cameras was released by CNN in 2024. The defense made an unsuccessful attempt to keep this video out of court as evidence.)
Ventura explained to the court that he decided to depart. As he exited, Sean trailed behind and forcibly seized him in the corridor, pushing him to the floor, kicking him, and dragging him back into the room before gathering his belongings.
Instead of participating, she found herself in a situation where she didn’t want to, as she had a movie premiere scheduled just a few days later and wanted to keep Combs satisfied. In her own words, “If I could win him over with a small favor,” Ventura said, “then my premiere would go off without a hitch.
In that moment, all I could think about was escaping safely, for I couldn’t bear the thought of ruining my big event. After he inflicted a black eye on her, he continued his assault, and when he shoved her into the hallway, I found myself hitting the ground. I chose to remain there, not wanting him to cause any further harm than he had already done.
Testified Ventura, she consumed alcohol and used ecstasy while engaging in her first sexual encounter with an escort, all while Combs watched. To endure what she called “freak offs,” she admitted to using marijuana, ketamine, mushrooms, or any drug that was popularly used at the time.
“I couldn’t imagine myself doing any of that without having some sort of buffer,” she said.
Occasionally, she would retch violently during a heated argument, Ventura explained, and Combs urged me to stand up and carry on with the dispute.
I felt utterly abysmal and valueless whenever those “freak offs” occurred, and I yearned for Combs to understand this. However, his response to my worries seemed rather unperturbed or indifferent.
Following an unexpected incident, traces of baby oil were found throughout the hotel room, as Ventura stated. If Combs had ordered someone to soil the bedsheets, there might also be urine stains present. Moreover, if she was having her period during this occurrence, there could potentially be bloodstains on both the sheets and furniture too.
According to Ventura, being urinated on left her feeling “extremely embarrassed.” She expressed that the incident was revolting and overwhelming, causing her to feel nauseated. She never wanted to find herself in such an uncomfortable situation and struggled to escape it.
According to Ventura, he found it appealing, which led to the event occurring. When Emily A. Johnson, the prosecutor, asked her why she didn’t resist Combs’ instructions in these instances, she explained that she believed it was clear that she did not wish to comply with them.
On the 13th of May, I found myself in a unique situation where Diddy, also known as Combs, was directing me and other “freak off” participants to slick ourselves with baby oil.
She stated in court that Sean preferred it hot and shiny, so we regularly reapplied it every five minutes,” she said.
At the Montage Beverly Hills, during a surprising incident, Ventura recalled that Combs invited her to step into a pool filled with baby oil, all while she was dressed in clothing.
She didn’t feel like it, but if it was something Sean “was determined to occur”, that’s exactly what would transpire, she went on to say. “We employed a total of ten standard-size bottles of baby oil,” she added.
On May 13th, Ventura disclosed to prosecutors that during their ten-year relationship with Combs, he suggested incorporating voyeurism into their intimate activities. This started when she arranged for an escort and set up a scenario so that she could perform in front of Combs, while he watched her with another person.
Ultimately, she found herself engaging in extended sex acts labeled as “freak offs” by Combs, which ranged from 36 hours to four days. This activity evolved into something resembling a regular occupation for her.
She remembered saying, “I arranged for it in our hotel room, and so on, at first, Sean had made the arrangements.
Ventura said that her “stomach churned” when he first proposed the experience.
She explained, “I didn’t initially understand how it would arouse him, but I took on the task. I felt perplexed, anxious, yet deeply loved him and desired his happiness. It wasn’t my preference to do it, especially with such frequency, but my love for him was strong. I wanted to bring joy to him.
She admitted, “At some point, I felt I didn’t have much of a choice.”
In her relationship with Combs, which spanned from 2007 to 2018, Ventura often claimed that he exhibited violent behavior towards her.
In her testimony to the jury, she stated that their disagreements were often intense, leading to physical harm such as hitting, pushing, and dragging me around. He would violently strike my head, send me tumbling to the ground, forcibly move me, and kick me.
She mentioned that she frequently had noticeable injuries, describing them as having knots on her forehead, black and red eyes, and bruises covering various parts of her body.
On May 13th, it was planned for Ventura to testify following Daniel Philip, a male escort. Combs’ legal team asked that Ventura be seated in the witness stand prior to the jury’s entrance, as she is currently eight months pregnant.
Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo stated, “I believe there’s a bias present,” to the judge. “Pregnancy carries an air of beauty and admiration. It can also stir feelings of compassion.
It’s clear that Ventura joined the case later on, as the jury had already been chosen, suggesting that his defense team’s request for something earlier was denied.
On one particular instance when Ventura didn’t immediately respond to Combs’ call, Philip testified on May 12 that Combs allegedly hurled a bottle of liquor in her proximity, then forcibly grabbed her by the hair and pulled her into the bedroom. Philip described her as screaming, and from his location in another room, he claimed to have heard noises that sounded like slapping. According to Philip, Combs said, “I told you to come here, you come here now, not later.
Phillip said he was “terrified” and did not intervene.
He also stated that on another occasion at the Essex House hotel in New York, he believed he heard Combs physically abusing Ventura. According to him, there were cries of “I’m sorry” and sounds of someone being hit and thrown around the room. He then peeked around the corner and observed Combs exiting the hotel naked or nearly so, possibly wearing only a towel.
Ventura exited the room and leaped onto Philip’s lap, as he stated. He recounted, “She seemed to be trying to reassure me that ‘everything’s fine’ and ‘I’ll manage,'” but Philip responded, “This is not acceptable and you need professional assistance.
“I tried to explain to her that she was in real danger if she stayed with him,” Phillip said.
Maureen Comey, the prosecutor, inquired about why Philip didn’t contact the authorities. In response, he stated that he perceived Combs as an individual with immense power, and there was a possibility that even if he had reported the matter to the police, his own life might still have been at risk.
Daniel Philip claimed, during the specified period, he was managing a male strip show. He testified that he received a substantial sum of money – approximately a few thousand dollars – for engaging in sexual activities with Ventura, while Combs observed at Manhattan’s Gramercy Hotel in 2012. Philip identified Combs by his voice, despite the fact that he wore a robe, a baseball cap, and a bandanna concealing his face.
Philip informed the court that Ventura compensated him and mentioned, “I’ll give you a tip when I depart.” Later on, they engaged in sexual activity, applied baby oil to each other for a short while. Combs was observed masturbating in a corner during this time.
Afterward, the witness continued, Ventura gave him “a couple of thousand more.”
Over the subsequent year, Philip asserted that he was reached out to on various occasions for similar experiences with both Ventura and Combs at different hotels as well as their residences in New York. He claimed that Combs videotaped him and Ventura during one or two intimate moments, and occasionally, Combs would interfere and engage in sexual activities with Ventura while Philip was present.
In a 2023 legal action claiming sexual assault and physical violence against her former partner, Ventura asserted that Combs compelled her into having relations with male escorts.
According to Florez’s testimony, Ventura appeared frightened. She huddled in a corner, with her hood pulled over and her body concealed. Her face wasn’t visible, and she seemed to be hiding. Nearby, there was a shattered flower vase on the floor.
After Ventura departed from the hotel, Florez stated that she had a noticeable purple eye. Following her exit, Florez claimed that he and the desk manager ascended to Combs’ room to discuss “hotel regulations.” According to Florez, Combs suspected the manager was filming him on his phone and attempted to take it, which led him to grab it. Florez continued by stating that when Combs made an attempt to seize his phone, Florez pinned him against a wall. Under oath, Florez testified that they informed Combs they were not recording him, and managed to de-escalate the situation.
In court proceedings during May 2024, prosecutors presented slowed-down versions of the surveillance footage depicting Combs appearing to strike, kick, and pull Ventura, which had initially been published by CNN. Earlier, the defense argued that this clip was sped up, making the altercation seem more violent than it actually was. Additionally, the jury viewed a video taken by Florez on his phone when he responded to an emergency call about a distressed woman on the sixth floor.
Florez stated that he didn’t contact the authorities immediately since Ventura refused to discuss what had occurred and indicated she simply wished to depart.
Police Officer Israel Florez, stationed in Los Angeles, previously served as a security guard at the InterContinental Hotel. It was during this tenure that the incident involving Combs and Ventura occurred on March 5, 2016. In her initial statement, Geragos referred to the surveillance footage of the altercation (initially released by CNN in May 2024) as “compelling evidence of domestic violence,” but emphasized that it was not related to allegations of sex trafficking; rather, it stemmed from infidelity discovered on a mobile device.
On May 12, Florez stated that he witnessed signs of a dispute on the day under investigation, and Combs reportedly gave him a pile of cash to ignore what had happened.
During questioning, Florez stated that he was absolutely certain he perceived Combs’ action as an attempt to bribe him.
In her initial remarks, the defense lawyer, Teny Geragos, argued that the prosecution was attempting to portray a consensual sexual encounter as an instance of sex trafficking. However, he expressed his confidence that this strategy would ultimately fail.
“Sean Combs is a complicated man,” she said, “but this is not a complicated case.”
In essence, Geragos stated that the matter at hand revolves around Sean Combs’ private, intimate sexual activities. However, these aspects have no bearing on his legitimate business dealings.
In her statement to the court, she mentioned that her client was prone to violence, used drugs, and had anger problems. However, it’s important to note that he is not on trial for being rude or unpleasant. He is not being accused of those behaviors.
Geragos explained, “The evidence presented will reveal an imperfect person, however, it won’t depict them as a racketeer, a sex trafficker, or someone involved in transporting for prostitution.
According to NBC News reporters present in court, Assistant District Attorney Emily Johnson alleged that defendant Combs employed a vast system of workers to execute unlawful activities, such as prolonged “freak offs.” These actions were outlined in the federal indictment.
She informed the jury that “At times, he would refer to himself as a king, demanding special treatment to fulfill all his whims. He utilized his businesses to exert control over women, compelling them into sexual encounters in the presence of male escorts. He and those close to him ensured he received everything he desired.
Johnson kicked off her argument to the jury by painting Combs as an exceptionally charismatic figure who oversaw a criminal organization.
Emphasizing an instance of his suspected wrongdoing, Johnson informed the jury that the founder of Bad Boys Record was “actively seeking” Ventura one night following the news of her starting a romantic relationship with someone else. Johnson alleged that Combs assaulted “her severely, kicking her in the back and tossing her around carelessly, like a piece of cloth,” once he discovered her.
She went on to explain that he had made a threat against her, stating that if she disobeyed him once more, he would expose videos of her engaging in intimate acts with male escorts – memories from the most shameful moments of her past.
The prosecutor alleged that Combs’ inner circle covered up “crime after crime.”
The lead judge, Arun Subramanian, expressed his belief to the jury that the trial might come to an end by the Fourth of July. He expressed optimism that the trial would be over by this date, but cautioned that it may extend beyond this timeline, though he does not anticipate such a scenario.
On the opening day of his sex trafficking trial on May 12, Janice Combs, the rap mogul’s mother, and six of his oldest children were in attendance by his side.
As a devoted father, I had the heartwarming opportunity to embrace my children – Quincy Brown, Christian “King” Combs, Jessie Combs, D’Lila Combs (from my relationship with Kim Porter), Justin Combs (from my relationship with Misa Hylton), and Chance Combs (from my relationship with Sarah Chapman) – before I sat down for a meeting with my legal advisors.
Both the prosecution and Chris Combs’ legal team reached an accord on selecting a jury consisting of eight males and four females, with four male and two female alternates for potential use during the trial.
As a seasoned lifestyle advisor, I’d like to share an observation from a recent legal case. In this scenario, Marc Agnifilo, a legal representative, made a compelling point on behalf of his client. He asserted that the prosecution seemed to be deliberately excluding potential Black jurors, a practice that he suggested created a discernible pattern. He respectfully urged the judge to demand explanations for these jury strikes, as they appeared to follow a recurring trend.
However, Maurene Ryan Comey, the prosecutor, refuted the allegations, stating, “We’ve acted impartially throughout this process. Our jury is made up of several individuals who are not white.
Twelve jurors reside in either New York City or Westchester, among them are:
1. A 69-year-old male actor and masseur.
2. A 31-year-old male investment analyst.
3. A 51-year-old male scientist.
4. A 30-year-old female deli clerk.
5. A 42-year-old female nursing home aide.
6. A 41-year-old male communications clerk at a correctional facility.
7. A 68-year-old retired banker.
8. A 68-year-old retiree from the telecommunications industry.
9. A 43-year-old female physician assistant.
10. A 39-year-old male social worker.
11. A 67-year-old male logistics analyst.
12. A 74-year-old female treatment coordinator.
