2025 ARIAs, the most prestigious radio event, concluded for another year, honoring top-tier radio personalities with their well-deserved accolades.
TopMob honored one prestigious award titled “Moment of the Year” following a public voting process where over 7,000 ballots were cast, ultimately revealing the victor.
The award went to… Coldplay go Orange for Luton – BBC Three Counties Radio.
Last year, Radio 1’s Big Weekend took place in Luton, featuring Coldplay as the main act. However, some fans of Luton Town Football Club speculated whether they might alter their popular single “Yellow,” given that Watford Football Club is closely associated with that color.
playful back-and-forth conversation took an unexpected turn as Coldplay revealed they had penned a tune titled “Orange,” in tribute to the football team, Luton Town.

Earlier, host Justin Dealey shared that the whole situation unfolded naturally. Originally, Greg James was supposed to introduce Coldplay on stage and then communicated with Chris Martin.
I frequently emphasize that Luton often receives negative attention. However, it’s important to acknowledge that the residents of Luton have endured hardships for quite some time, and they truly deserved the occasion when a grand festival came to their town following the success of their football team in the Premier League.
