Based on a Patreon post by well-known source Daniel Richtman, it appears that Marvel Studios is considering a film featuring the Annihilators, a team of superheroes from the comics. If this project progresses, it would join “Black Panther 3” and a potential new “X-Men” series in Marvel Studios’ rumored lineup for their upcoming saga.
According to Cosmic Circus’ latest update, there seems to be a possible future plot where Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord could assemble the Annihilators upon his Earth return following Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. However, an inside source expressed some doubt about whether this plan is still in place for the character.
A while ago, it was whispered that a film based on the Annihilators was one of 24 potential projects being quietly developed at Marvel Studios. However, since then, there hasn’t been much progress with this movie, suggesting that the initial rumors might not have been accurate or the project may have been put on hold for some time recently.

Among The Annihilators, there were Silver Surfer, Beta Ray Bill, Ikon, Gladiator, Quasar, and Ronan the Accuser. However, since Ronan has already been eliminated from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in “Guardians of the Galaxy”, it might be beneficial to adjust the team composition by introducing characters who are more central to the current storyline.
