Xbox and Netflix’s Gears of War movie has a director

The long-awaited Gears of War movie project is moving forward, with director David Leitch now at the helm.

On a Thursday announcement, The Hollywood Reporter disclosed that alongside his role as director, David Leitch together with his producing partner, Kelly McCormick, will also produce the movie. Furthermore, The Coalition, the leading Xbox studio responsible for Gears of War game development, is also involved in production.
