In the latest installment from DreamWorks Animation’s popular 2022 action-comedy film, The Bad Guys (a group of notorious animal crooks) are grappling with building trust and acceptance as they transition into being Good Guys. However, their peaceful retirement is disrupted when a gang of tough women criminals compel them to take on “one last job.”
Or more concisely: The Bad Guys’ peace has been shattered by an all-female crew of hardened criminals who want them to perform one final heist.
As a devoted movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that “The Bad Guys 2” is back, returning our beloved star-studded cast and creative team, having been inspired by Aaron Blabey’s acclaimed New York Times best-selling book series.
In my perspective, it’s a delight to see these talented actors slip back into their roles as The Bad Guys: Academy Award-winning Sam Rockwell transforming into the charming ex-pickpocket, Mr. Wolf; Marc Maron becoming the meticulous safe-cracker, Mr. Snake; Craig Robinson channeling his skills for disguise as Mr. Shark; Grammy winner Anthony Ramos bringing intensity to the table as Mr. Piranha, the temperamental one; and Golden Globe winner Awkwafina adding her unique charm as Ms. Tarantula, also known as “Webs,” the tech-savvy member of our villainous team.
This top-tier comedic ensemble welcomes back Zazie Beetz as Diane Foxington, Richard Ayoade as Professor Marmalade (having won a BAFTA), Alex Borstein as Chief Misty Luggins (a multiple Emmy winner), and Lilly Singh as Tiffany Fluffit.
