Nintendo has disclosed a collection of initial Switch 1 games set to receive free updates for enhanced performance on the upcoming Switch 2. Remarkably, “The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening” and “Echoes of Wisdom” are among those listed. These titles will incorporate HDR support along with visual enhancements and improved resolution, as stated by Nintendo. However, keep in mind that an HDR-capable screen is necessary when playing in console mode.
It’s been verified that the same free upgrades for Switch 2 will be available on the release day of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario 3D World, and several other games as well.
