The official merchandise related to “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” unveils a sneak peek at a beloved Marvel figure – Franklin Richards. Among the initial collection of Funko Pop! figures from “First Steps” is a Sue Storm character, who comes with a miniature Franklin Richards. Dressed in an outfit reminiscent of the opposite colors of the Fantastic Four team, Franklin’s attire is predominantly white with blue accents. The first wave of Funko Pop! figures also includes Reed Richards, the Human Torch, Silver Surfer, two versions of the Thing – one in his classic Fantastic Four uniform and another in a trench coat and top hat, representing his civilian attire.

As an avid Marvel fan, I’ve been thrilled to see hints about Franklin’s entry into the MCU scattered throughout The Fantastic Four: First Steps marketing campaign. The film’s trailer has left no doubt that Sue is expecting a baby, and a captivating image shows HERBIE, our beloved family robot, constructing a crib for the new arrival – Franklin! Until now, it was a mystery whether we would get to see Franklin on screen, but the Funko figurines suggest he will make his debut during the movie itself. I can hardly wait to witness this exciting addition to the Fantastic Four family!

In the upcoming film “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” viewers will encounter numerous potent characters, including the antagonist Galactus. However, the anticipated debut of Franklin could be one of the most thrilling aspects of this movie within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In the Marvel Comics, Franklin is among the most powerful entities in the multiverse. He has mental and physical powers, such as telepathy, telekinesis, energy projection, and even the ability to create miniature dimensions.
