Unexpectedly, Microids has unveiled a remaster of the classic game titled “Syberia.” Developed by Studio Virtuallyz and Microids Studio Paris, “Syberia: Remastered Edition” will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in Q4 2025. Below you can find the initial screenshots.
Originally developed by Benoît Sokal, the game titled Syberia was launched in May 2002 and garnered widespread acclaim from critics. This captivating narrative follows Kate Walker as she embarks on a journey alongside an automaton named Oscar, unraveling the mysteries of the enigmatic island named Syberia in a point-and-click adventure format. The updated version enhances the graphics with completely revamped characters and reimagined settings.
The puzzles have been redesigned to provide a more seamless and instinctive play. Noteworthy adjustments include a refreshed user interface, enhanced control mechanisms, and streamlined navigation. Rest assured, Microids ensures that the game’s reflective and story-driven essence stays unaltered.
