According to actor Michael Cudlitsch, who played Lex Luthor in the series “Superman & Lois,” if the show had persisted beyond its fourth season, it would have incorporated the character of Brainiac into the storyline.
At a discussion with ScreenRant’s Joe Deckelmeier during the Superman & Lois cast panel at Fan Expo Philadelphia, actor Michael Cudlitz (portraying Lex Luthor) shared that an abandoned plotline for Superman & Lois centered around Brainiac. Cudlitz mentioned that the team behind the series had planned to delve deeper into “Brainiac’s world” in future seasons, but unfortunately, the show was canceled before this could happen. Here are Michael Cudlitz’s own words:
“We were definitely going to explore the realm of Brainiac in subsequent seasons, but the series got canceled.
ScreenRant Question: Did any unrealized story aspects arise during discussions for the series, which unfortunately couldn’t be explored due to time constraints?
According to my recollection, it centered around Brainiac. It seemed they were planning to delve deeply into the realm of Brainiac.
