The Upcoming MCU Film, “Avengers: Doomsday,” is generating an immense amount of excitement among fans, who are eagerly waiting to witness Robert Downey Jr.’s transition from Iron Man to Doctor Doom in the movie. However, one fan’s eagerness has reached an extreme level, as they decided to intrude onto the film’s set in England to catch a glimpse of the action. Remarkably, this fan demonstrated heroic qualities by recording the incident and sharing it online for everyone else to enjoy.
The individual identified as “@theyneversawitcoming” was the person who invaded the set of “Avengers: Doomdsay“. Much like J. Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons) accusing Peter Parker at the end of “Spider-Man: Far From Home“, “@theyneversawitcoming” shared their video on TikTok and Instagram. However, the video has since been removed from both platforms. Yet, it continues to spread online, with accounts like “@culture3ase” being one of those sharing it on X.
The title of the video was “Infiltrating the Avengers: Doomsday Set.” In the clip, a fan donning a balaclava leaped over an unexpectedly low fence by scaling a tree. Fortunately for Marvel Studios, the footage didn’t disclose any significant spoilers. Instead, it showcased their catering setup. However, they did catch a peek at some sets. One employed extensive blue screens, suggesting that another action-packed, CGI-intensive battle will occur in the movie. Another scene was set in an Asian marketplace. Towards the end of the video, the fan exited the set much like Captain America in Avengers: Endgame (but without whispering “hail Hydra” to the security officer). The closing caption read, “Step up security, too easy.
‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Releases in May 2026
For Marvel enthusiasts avoiding potential legal issues, we’ll have to be patient until next year for the release of Avengers: Doomsday. The footage suggests that the film is being made right now, with most of the filming happening at Pinewood Studios in England.
It’s looking like we’ll have to wait several more months for the first movie trailer, since filming didn’t start until this spring. Fortunately, members of the cast are keeping fans informed with updates. Robert Downey Jr., in particular, has been quite active on social media, offering glimpses into the movie’s production process. Not too long ago, he even posted a picture of himself partially dressed for the film while reading Jeremy Renner’s new book.
In “Avengers: Doomsday,” we’ve got a star-studded lineup! Notable Marvel Cinatic Universe veterans like Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, and Paul Rudd are set to reappear. The movie is also welcoming back some of the original X-Men cast members such as Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Alan Cumming, and Kelsey Grammer. Additionally, the new additions to the Fantastic Four (Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach) will be joining in, along with the Thunderbolts/New Avengers crew, which includes Florence Pugh, David Harbor, Wyatt Russell, Lewis Pullman, and others.
Avengers: Doomsday releases in theaters on May 1, 2026.
