Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled a fresh trailer for the imminent partnership between Overwatch 2 and Street Fighter 6, which kicks off tomorrow. This collaboration introduces cosmetic items inspired by Capcom’s fighting game, customizable for several characters. Take a look at the new appearances in the video below.
As a gamer, I’ve got some exciting news about the latest additions to my favorite game: Eight fresh skins! Here I am, envisioning Hanzo transformed into Ryu, Juno morphing into Chun-Li, Kiriko taking the form of Juri, and Widowmaker channeling Cammy. Out of all, Sigma as M. Bison seems like the perfect match with his iconic red attire. However, it’s a bit disappointing to see that well-known techniques such as Hadouken, Spinning Bird Kick, and others have been reimagined as emotes instead.
The poses that resemble victory celebrations from Street Fighter 6, when a character wins a round, are incorporated too. However, the number of characters who will have these special poses isn’t specified yet. If the collaboration is similar to the one with Gundam Wing, each skin bundle might cost around 2800 Overwatch Coins (approximately $30), and a Mega Bundle could be offered for 5900 Coins (around $60).
Overwatch 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
