Jennifer Lawrence Reveals the Secret to Her Intimate Scenes with Robert Pattinson!

Jennifer Lawrence had no hard feelings about her sex scenes with Robert Pattinson.

In a candid disclosure, the Oscar-winning actor shared the tactic they used to feel at ease with their co-star from the Twilight series during the filming of intimate scenes for their upcoming movie, Die, My Love – a psychological drama that debuted at the Cannes Film Festival on May 17.

For Jennifer, much of the credit is owed to an exercise that the movie’s director, Lynne Ramsay, had them perform together prior to the start of filming.

In an interview with Brut on May 18 at the festival, Jennifer mentioned that we were made to take dance classes prior to starting filming, which she found incredibly mortifying and awkward.

Initially, the actress from the Hunger Games series might not have enjoyed dancing with Robert. However, later on, she acknowledged that these dance lessons fostered an immediate sense of trust and turned out to be quite beneficial for her in the end.

On the initial day of filming, Jennifer playfully remarked, “We were both bare, mimicking the ferocity of tigers in a fight.

In my perspective, aligning with Robert’s viewpoint, I believe our swift transition from pre-production dance rehearsals to filming intimate scenes was indeed a clever move.

I thought things couldn’t get any more humiliating, but then they asked me to do it without clothes on.” He added that it was a smart move because if we didn’t get along well, the situation would have become increasingly uncomfortable as filming went on.

Apart from one factor, Jennifer (aged 34) and Robert’s explicit scenes together ran smoothly without any issues. Furthermore, the duo mentioned that having an intimacy advisor on the film set, where they also worked alongside actors like LaKeith Stanfield, Sissy Spacek, and Nick Nolte, made them feel secure.

Robert added, “It’s not just about feeling secure sometimes. I believe directors can be hesitant to express, for example, ‘Your body appears odd from this angle.’ With an assistant whose role is specifically to suggest adjustments such as ‘Try moving a bit over here,’ the outcome tends to be more pleasing.
