RoadCraft is Out Now on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

The latest off-road driving game from Saber Interactive, titled RoadCraft, has just been released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Similar to their previous games such as MudRunner, SnowRunner, and Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, the new game emphasizes off-road driving, establishing supply lines, and giving players control of powerful industrial vehicles. You can watch the launch trailer here.

In contrast to earlier games within this series, which emphasized off-road driving and establishing supply lines in less populated regions worldwide, RoadCraft shifts its focus towards aiding in the reconstruction of areas ravaged by natural catastrophes. Upon launch, eight expansive maps in RoadCraft will present players with the challenge of managing the destruction caused by tsunamis, earthquakes, and severe storms, leaving the landscapes in ruins.

In the gameplay, newcomers are initially required to explore the newly entered region. Once they’ve familiarized themselves with the surroundings, a variety of tasks are assigned to them to gradually restore industrial zones across the map. These tasks begin simply, such as transporting essential resources to establish a forward base using a truck. However, they can soon become intricate, for instance, manufacturing pipes to replace damaged ones so that the region maintains a consistent supply of gas.

Due to Saber Interactive’s skillful design, the game RoadCraft breaks new ground in realism thanks to a sophisticated physics engine that provides exceptional, lifelike interactions with the environment. The studio invites you and your cooperative partners to unleash your creativity and see just how far these realistic experiences can go!

From day one, I’m thrilled about the diversity “RoadCraft” offers – over 40 unique vehicles at my disposal! Ranging from sturdy SUVs to heavy-duty cargo trucks, cranes, and even bulldozers and road rollers, there’s something for every driving enthusiast. These vehicles can be put to the test across the 8 maps available at launch, each set in one of three distinct biomes. The developers have hinted that post-launch updates will introduce new vehicles, maps, and biomes, keeping the game fresh and exciting!

RoadCraft offers versatility in gameplay with options for single-player experience or multiplayer collaboration with up to four players. It’s also designed to cater to a global audience by offering support in 14 languages and complete voiceovers in English. A special edition of the game, called the “Rebuild Edition,” is available, granting players immediate access to the Invictus Type A scout vehicle from the get-go. This premium version also comes with early access to the first paid DLC, scheduled for release later this year.
