Therefore, when the moment arrived for the item to be auctioned off, it appeared that the Grammy winner’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, would make an ideal buyer – that was, until he decided to withdraw his bid.

Referencing a popular video clip showing Travis’ support at an auction for Patrick Mahomes’ foundation, Jason humorously remarked during their “New Heights” podcast on May 21st, “There’s this video of you bidding up the price for a charity event by offering a signed guitar.

Swiftly countering, Travis said, “Bidding the price skyward? Not at all! I raised my paddle because I desired it, but then I remembered, ‘Ah, I own that one already.’

Oh boy, let me tell you about the time I was absolutely thrilled at an event, listening to a podcast later on. In that recording, there was a moment when Travis confidently rose to his feet, addressing the auctioneer after making a bid, saying “I just noticed I already have it.” This statement brought laughter not only from the crowd at that very moment, but also echoed through my speakers in real-time as I listened, knowing that his older brother was there too, sharing in the joke.

The player from the Kansas City Chiefs explained to Jason, ‘I needed to check it out thoroughly, so you wouldn’t end up buying the same guitar again.’

This year, Travis attended the gala on his own, but last year, he had Taylor as his guest. That’s when they astonished guests by unexpectedly adding a unique item to the auction list at the last minute.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romantic journey started in July 2023, as Taylor’s Eras Tour passed through Kansas City, Missouri, with a performance at Arrowhead Stadium.

Following his on-stage slip-up, which Travis would later label as “purely metal,” he bravely extended an invitation for the Grammy award-winner to join him at the Chiefs game in Arrowhead Stadium.

He shared on The Pat McAfee Show that he challenged her by saying, “I’ve seen your electrifying performances at Arrowhead. Maybe you should come witness mine and decide who’s the brightest spark among us.” Let’s wait and see what unfolds in the coming days.

Initially, when Travis met Taylor, he already had a mustache that he grew in August, specifically during the training camp.

Later on, he remarked about that period, “For a while, the mustache and the number 87 were quite iconic. And that’s exactly what I sported when I first encountered Taylor.

According to a reliable source familiar with the matter, by early September, Travis and Taylor were occasionally exchanging texts and having casual conversations.
