Preston Ordone’s grandfather is turning his sorrow into song.
After the 2-year-old TikTok sensation, often referred to as “Okay Baby” on social platforms, passed away following a car accident, his mother Katelynn Ordone shared a heartfelt song composed and performed by her father Glen Norris during this difficult time.
She posted on Instagram, May 18th, ‘My father penned this heartwarming melody for Preston.’ The post showcased the song alongside videos of Preston and his loved ones. ‘We ache for you in every moment of every day,’ she expressed.
In the song’s verses, Glen confessed to God that his faith was under strain following the heartbreaking incident.
He sang that his understanding is far surpassed by yours, and your methods are loftier. So, I entrust myself to you, and simply agree with a ‘yes.’
The grief-stricken grandparent also mused about what Preston might be up to in heaven.
And now that he’s back, I imagine him doing a little jig near your seat, giving an almost audible approval with a simple ‘Alright.’
On April 24th, Preston sadly passed away following a solitary car accident in Louisiana. This incident caused severe injuries to Katelynn and her husband Jaelan Ordone. The cause of death was ultimately identified as traumatic injuries sustained from the motor vehicle collision, while it was classified as an accident by various sources, including the St. Tammany Parish coroner’s office.
Not long after it was established what caused Preston’s demise, Katelynn openly addressed “inaccuracies” about the event. She emphasized that she and Jaelan, their 7-year-old daughter Paisley’s shared parents, had engaged an “impartial crash investigation specialist” to scrutinize the conditions leading up to the collision.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude on Instagram, May 14, for the ongoing prayers and support during these difficult times. Her message conveyed that she is thankful for the persistent prayers.

On December 27, 2022, the proud parents of little Paisley Ordone announced the arrival of their newborn son, Preston.
Katelynn posted on Facebook, expressing her excitement, “Can’t wait to bring him home!” She also expressed gratitude, saying, “Thanks to all of you for your prayers.
The Ordone family spent Easter 2025 enjoying plenty of treats, attending church services, and relaxing by the pool. Katelyn summed up their holiday with the simple message, “Wishing you a Happy Easter!
At seven years old, Paisley cherishes having her younger brother around. It appears that her daring spirit, which Katelynn mentioned, might have been inherited from Paisley herself.
The mother of two playfully commented on Instagram, “At her current age, my daughter was just as wild-natured as his at that time.” She explained, “Since they are five years apart, she has grown to be slightly less wild with age.
In an August 2024 TikTok video, Katelynn instructed Preston by saying, “Wait a minute for Lovie, alright?” Following her instruction with an affirmative nod, the toddler promptly dove into the pool.
The user mentioned that they always find it ‘fine’ for them, and he continues to leap, to which Katelynn concurred, expressing that Preston hasn’t quite understood the concept of ‘OK’, as they are still figuring out what it signifies to him.
As a passionate devotee, I can’t help but confess my affection for two very distinct elements – the tranquil pool and the invigorating mud puddles. While the allure of the pool never wanes, there’s an irresistible charm that the muddy puddles outside our abode possess. For countless hours on end, I find myself immersed in these earthy playpens, reveling in their textured embrace.
According to Carson Matranga, who announced his sudden passing on April 27 and is a cherished member of Katelynn and Jaelan’s family, he imagines that if there’s mud in heaven, he’s likely discovered it and is joyfully leaping and dancing around in it up there.
Occasionally, Katelynn posted “Preston Interview Clips” on social media, interrogating him about his culinary preferences and probing for personal details.
His favorite song? “Baby” by Justin Bieber, which he went on to sing.
Reflection on the Grinch: “There’s no denying that he’s quite frightful, Mr. Grinch. Honestly, I feel like I’d rather confront him if given a chance due to his intimidating nature.
