Sengoku Baccarat is a fusion of the casino card game Baccarat and a roguelike card battle game.

Venture boldly, adapt as circumstances dictate, assert your individuality when required. Navigate the throngs of adversaries on your journey!

Story

In the year 20XX, a massive fissure emerges at the boundary between our world, known as the Mortal Realm, and the Eternal Realm.

(Here, Utsushi-yo refers to the Mortal World and Toko-yo refers to the Everlasting World.)

In the deterioration of the boundary between the realms, residents from Toko-yo flood into our tangible world, Utsushi-yo. This influx brings supernatural beings such as ghosts, spirits, demons, deities, and even manifestations of gods and Buddha, all causing turmoil.

In an attempt to quell the situation, the government resorts to employing military action, hoping to subdue these malevolent beings, but their attempts bear no fruit; traditional warfare strategies prove ineffective against the enigmatic entities known as “Bakara” from Toko-yo, as they operate under a unique logic system.

Setsuna, a sword-wielder bearing the ancient “Demon Slayer Blade,” could potentially be humanity’s final savior. His journey leads him to the chasm now known as “Oomikado”…

Key Features

  • Battle With Baccarat! – The battle system is based on the casino game Baccarat. If you have the better hand, you get to attack! If your hand is weaker, the enemy gets to attack. But even if your cards don’t look good, don’t give up! Make use of your skills and items to reinvent your hand and strengthen your attack and defense stats!
  • Deckbuilding – Find Talismans (Skill cards) on your journey to strengthen your deck! Discover combinations you can use to pave your way to victory!
  • Items to Collect! – There are Amulets (Relics) that can give you passive skills and Scrolls (Potions) that can fortify you temporarily. Use these items in tandem with your Talismans for powerful effects!
  • Roguelike – Every time you start a game, the map changes. You’ll never travel the same map twice. (Although, it is possible to recreate the map through SEED value.) Apart from fighting enemies in the map, you’ll bump into events that require you to make decisions, and you may also find a merchant that will sell you items. Prepare yourself for what’s to come!
