Among the captivating aspects of the character Vegeta, it’s worth noting that his initial impressive display in “Dragon Ball Z” is unique to the anime. During their journey towards Earth, Vegeta and Nappa take a brief detour to Planet Arlia. This stop serves as an unnecessary yet engaging opportunity for them to demonstrate their powerful Saiyan abilities. Uninterested in the ongoing Arlian civil war, they unwillingly get embroiled in it, providing an action-packed side story.

In the story of Dragon Ball Z, Vegeta overthrows Arlia’s corrupt ruler and unexpectedly frees the planet in the process. There’s a chance that Nappa could recover from his injuries and seek revenge later on.

Regrettably, Nappa doesn’t get a chance for redemption as Vegeta chooses to eliminate him when he feels Nappa is no longer beneficial. This sudden act of treachery underscores Vegeta’s disloyalty and his focus on preserving himself above all else. It’s a harsh, unexpected move that sets the stage for Goku’s battle against Vegeta, making it clear that Vegeta will stop at nothing to ensure his own survival.

It’s almost laughable when Babidi’s replication of Planet Zoon’s 10-fold gravity is portrayed as an advantage for Pui Pui over Vegeta.
